At present,as a rapidly developing and innovative country,China needs technical support from outstanding and innovative talents in all walks of life.Therefore,it is particularly important for the cultivation of innovative practical ability of innovative talents.As one of which leading the reform of elementary education curriculums,comprehensive practical curriculum has become the main bright spot of the new round of elementary education reform.In 2017,the Ministry of Education reissued Guidance outline of Comprehensive Practical Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools to propose a activity form called "design and production" for the very first time,which is an important way to comprehensively deepen curriculum reform,and enhance innovation and practical ability.Therefore,this study aims at the cultivation of innovation and practical ability of primary school students,and conducts case design and practice on the activities of design and production comprehensive practical curriculum in primary schools,hoping to contribute to the improvement of innovation and practical ability of primary school students.This study uses literature analysis method,interview method,observation method,action research method,and it is based project-based learning,"learning by doing",new constructivism and STEM education.Referring to the guidance requirements of 2017 edition of the guiding outline,this study developed and designed two cases,one is "recycling and utilization of garbage" and an other one is "creative wood products",and focuses on the detailed analysis of the "design and production of intelligent garbage can" activity stage in case I "recycling and utilization of garbage" and the "design and production of creative wood products" activity stage in case II "creative wood products".The content design of stages of two activities integrates modern technical means such as LEGO EV3 robot,CorelDRAW drawing software and laser cutting machine.In the process of implementation,teaching mode is based on the project-based learning,students are allowed to design and make creatively by group cooperation.After the teaching practice,students were tested and analyzed through questionnaires,which initially verified the effectiveness of the curriculum design and implementation,and students' innovative practice ability was improved to a certain extent.At the end,this study combined teaching reflection with personal teaching experience,and four reasonable and effective teaching suggestions are put forward.The results of this study can provide excellent teaching design and high-quality curriculum resources for teachers of comprehensive practical curriculum in primary and secondary schools,and have certain practical application value.
