STEM education is an integrated education of science,technology,engineering and mathematics.STEM education was first put forward under the background of the lack of talents in the American social market and the shortage of scientific and technological talents,and then began to be implemented in many developed countries,which has become an important factor affecting the global socio-economic development and international competitiveness.The domestic basic education also draws on the successful experience in the world,and gradually carries out STEM education and teaching in developed cities such as Shanghai,which has made great progress.However,there are no cases of STEM education in ethnic areas,and the research on STEM education is relatively backward.With the development of information technology,the new curriculum standard of physics puts forward the cultivation of subject core literacy,emphasizes the importance of science and technology and engineering environment in people's life and production activities,but at present,senior high school physics teaching in ethnic areas still focuses on Teachers' teaching knowledge,emphasizes the mastery of students' theoretical knowledge and the ability of solving problems in mathematical operation,and engineering technology education is always physics teaching Therefore,it is a difficult and urgent task to cultivate students' engineering skills in senior high school physics teaching in ethnic areas.STEM education has the characteristics of combining science,technology,engineering and mathematics in teaching practice and application.Therefore,in the process of high school physics curriculum learning in ethnic areas,the implementation of STEM education based physics teaching provides an important learning way to cultivate students' engineering technology ability.The implementation of STEM education in physics teaching needs to be studied from different perspectives,so it is the first and key to study the strategy of physics teaching.This paper studies the strategy of Physics Teaching in Ethnic Areas Based on STEM education.Starting from the research status of this problem at home and abroad,starting with the core literacy advocated by the new curriculum standard and the integrated teaching of STEM education,this paper first analyzes the new curriculum teaching content and experimental teaching content,the new curriculum standard,and the physics test questions in the national Volume II of 2017-2019 College entrance examination,and designs the STEM education based on STEM Education related physics teaching questionnaire and a high school physics teachers and science students in Tibet were investigated and analyzed.Secondly,on the basis of STEM education related analysis,this paper puts forward the strategies of high school physics teaching in ethnic minority areas based on STEM education from four aspects: training students' STEM education awareness,training students' STEM subject integration teaching,infiltrating STEM skill training and training STEM education ability to solve practical problems.Finally,with the physical teaching strategy of STEM education,we develop and utilize the curriculum resources which are suitable for the characteristics of ethnic areas and make case analysis.Through the questionnaire,we find that: in the physics teaching of Tibetan area,teachers pay attention to and implement some related teaching of engineering technology problems,and the training of engineering skills in the physics teaching of senior high school needs to be improved;in the Tibetan area,students' ability to connect knowledge and engineering technology and their ability to make hands,and in the practical engineering problems,the ability to solve problems by comprehensive application of knowledge needs to be improved.In view of the problems existing in the implementation of STEM education in ethnic areas,this paper puts forward the following two suggestions: one is to establish STEM teachers;the other is to promote students to participate in STEM education and teaching.
