This study selected a public kindergarten in chengdu and invited a total of 80 senior class children from the general kindergarten and one of the sub-kindergartens to participate in the study.The methods of interview,observation and work analysis were used to understand the influence of pictures and models on children's construction behavior,and the similarities and differences between them were compared.The results show that children's cognition of reference consists of three dimensions: shape,quantity and position relation of reference structure.Among them,there is an obvious difference between children's cognition of the number of picture and model reference structures.In the construction process,children's construction under picture reference consists of four steps:determining the construction order,choosing the shape of building blocks,determining the number of building blocks and applying construction skills,while children's construction under model reference adds the step of determining the construction Angle.Due to the three reasons of stability,space size,attention and reference,children will make adjustments in the construction process.In order to keep consistent with the reference,the children adjusted the construction position,shape and length.It is found that the shape,quantity,position relation,combination mode and size relation of reference structure have significant influence on children's construction behavior,while the absolute size of each structure and the relationship between the height and height of the structure have little influence on children's construction.There are differences in the influence of pictures and model references on children's construction behavior.The spatial position relation of reference structure affects the placement of building blocks.The size relation between reference structures affects the choice of building block size and length.The combination of frame of reference affects the use of construction skills.The complex structure in the reference affects the integrity of children's works in five aspects.The differences include that the placement Angle of model reference objects affects the placement Angle of children's construction works.The number of structures built by children under the picture reference is incomplete;More non-reference structures are constructed under the picture reference.According to the research results,the researchers put forward the corresponding educational Suggestions :(1)give necessary support to the construction behavior related to the reference;(2)pay attention to the differences of children's construction behavior under different types of references;(3)correctly treat the structure inconsistent with the reference in children's works;(4)Provide appropriate references in block games.
