| As the basic national policy of our country,the realization of gender equality has become an important indicator of the progress and civilization of modern society.In order to promote gender equality in education,the state has also issued specific policies to increase the gender perspective in education and promote gender equality in curricula and teaching materials.On the one hand,the educational carrier function of Chinese textbooks cannot be underestimated.Under the background of the new curriculum,it not only has the nature of "learning resources" or "learning materials",which will be used as a hidden curriculum to influence students imperceptibly,but also is the carrier of social culture.It carries the mainstream culture of today's society and plays a vital role in the development of students' gender awareness.On the other hand,the primary school stage is the critical period for students to form correct gender awareness.Therefore,compared with textbooks of other disciplines,Chinese textbooks bear more important cultural construction tasks.As a hidden curriculum of school education,it is extremely important to explore the reasonable composition of gender roles in Chinese textbooks during the critical period when students' gender consciousness is formed.The research sample of this paper is the first volume of the department edition of primary school Chinese textbook from grade 1 to grade 6 which has been put into use.On the basis of learning and summarizing the achievements of researchers at home and abroad,this paper explores the rationality of gender role differences in textbooks through content analysis and text analysis.Firstly,the author of the text,the gender role in the text and the gender of the figure in the illustrations in the primary school Chinese textbook are analyzed by the content analysis method.Then,text analysis is used to analyze the gender role image in the social field and the family field from the perspective of the social and professional identity of the characters,and to explore the differences between the abilities and personalities of male and female gender roles from the perspective of personality characteristics.Research results show that the compiled version of primary school Chinese textbook obvious gender role differences phenomenon-the author,the gender roles in the text and illustrations of the phenomenon of gender differences,and in the text description of the female characters compared with male characters,more focus on home field,professional type single,professional level is low,the description of the character and capability also exist gender stereotypes.But in the context of The Times,from the biological,psychological and social perspective,the difference is reasonable.On the basis of this,the author clarifies the reasons for the formation of gender roles in Chinese textbooks and puts forward some Suggestions for future development. |
