The idea that footballers are more aggressive than the rest of us has been around for a long time. There is a belief that footballers are inherently more aggressive than the rest of the population, and that greater aggression is one of the reasons they participate in competitive sports. There is also a view that footballers' aggression is influenced by their environment, and that aggression increases with training. However, whether the aggression of football players is generally higher than that of ordinary people has not been more empirically proved. In addition,in the current research on the aggression of football players, the subjects choose more professional players or college students, and the research involving teenagers is less.Compared with adults, adolescents' physical and mental development is not yet stable,is still in development, and has strong plasticity. Therefore, this study took young football players and ordinary students as research subjects, and studied the aggression characteristics of them through three research designs.Study 1: IAT evaluation tool and IAT ego tool were used to investigate the characteristics of implicit aggression in young football players.Buss-perry attack scale was used to investigate the characteristics of explicit aggression in young football players and to test whether there was a relationship between implicit aggression and explicit aggression.Study 2: the variables of age, gender, age of playing and competitive level of young football players were investigated to explore whether the aggression of the players was affected by the competitive environment.Study 3: on the basis of study 2,the subjects of ordinary teenagers were increased.IAT evaluation-type tool and IAT self-type tool were used to investigate the aggression of ordinary teenagers, and whether there were significant differences in the implicit and explicit aggression of young football players and ordinary teenagers. The results show that:(1)there is no correlation between implicit aggression and explicit aggression in young football players, and the research results support the separation theory.(2)compared with offensive words, teenage football players tend to use peaceful words and subconsciously believe that they are peaceful and others are offensive.(3)there is a significant difference in physical attack between male and female adolescent athletes, and male is higher than female. However,it was found that the athletes in the higher grades were higher than those in the lower grades.(4)there is no significant difference in the implicit aggressiveness between ordinary students and athletes, and the explicit aggressiveness of ordinary students is significantly higher than that of young football players.
