The kindergarten activity area is the basic place for young children to carry out regional activities.It provides a material foundation for children's autonomous activities.It plays a pivotal role in the child's personal growth and physical and mental health.The physical environment of the activity area,as an important component of the kindergarten activity area,affects the quality of children's regional activities,so it has gradually received the attention of kindergartens and teachers.In view of the fact that not all teachers are able to scientifically and effectively create the environment of the activity are,especially in private kindergartens,there are many problems in the creation of the environment of the activity area due to various reasons.A comparative study of the creation of the physical environment,found the differences in the creation of the physical environment of the public kindergartens and private kindergartens in the activity area and their respective shortcomings,explored the causes of the differences and problems,and put forward constructive suggestions.In this study,6 public kindergartens and 6 private kindergartens in the main urban area of Baoding were selected.Each kindergarten selected 2 classes of large,middle and small classes,a total of 72 classes.We use survey methods,interview methods,and comparative methods to gain a deep understanding of the current status of the quality of the physical environment in public and private kindergartens in Baoding,and to explore the reasons for the differences.The survey results of this study show that the public and private kindergarten classes do not show significant results in 7 indicators such as space size,indoor safety,ventilation and lighting,regional variety,suitability of furniture placement,regional material placement rules,and regional material identification.Differences in nature;but there are significant differences in 11 indicators,including reasonable regional division,the number of furniture,regional environmental arrangement with young children's participation,the display of children's works,the richness of regional materials,the openness of regional materials,the identification of regional names,the identification of regional rules,the setting of outdoor activity areas,outdoor event materials,public event rooms or public event areas.And the physical environment of the public kindergarten class activity area is better than the private kindergarten class activity area.The reasons for the difference in the quality of the physical environment of public and private kindergarten class activity areas are divided into internal and external aspects: internal factors include different kindergarten environment creation concepts,disparities in kindergarten teachers;external factors include different sources of funds,government supervision Different energies,parents' ideas,and parents recognize teachers differently.In this regard,this study puts forward corresponding suggestions from three aspects: 1.The government strengthens support and guidance for private kindergartens;2.Strengthen exchanges and cooperation,improve the evaluation and reward mechanism;3.Establish a scientific environment creation concept and improve teachers' ability to create environment.
