The principal is the highest leader of the kindergarten,whose leadership behavior plays a crucial role in the development of the kindergarten.In recent years,transformational leadership has become a hotspot of research on leadership theory.It meets the requirements of educational reform on principal's leadership behavior.The research on the relationship between the kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior and the kindergarten teachers' work engagement responds to the needs of improving the working status of kindergarten teachers,improving the management level of kindergarten and the quality of preschool education,and also makes up for the deficiencies of previous related research.Based on this,the main purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in demographic variables of kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior and kindergarten teachers' work engagement,explore the relationship between the two,and put forward relevant suggestions to provide support for improving the leadership ability of kindergarten principals and promoting the work engagement of kindergarten teachers.In this research,493 kindergarten teachers from 22 kindergartens in Baoding city were surveyed by "Questionnaire of Kindergarten Principals' Transformational Leadership Behavior" and "Questionnaire of Kindergarten Teachers' Work Engagement " A total of 423 valid questionnaires were collected.At the same time,7 kindergarten teachers were selected for interviews.The collected data are analyzed and the results show that:1.There is a significant positive correlation between kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior and kindergarten teachers' work engagement.The factors of vision incentive and virtue model of kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior have a significant positive predictive effect on kindergarten teachers' work engagement.2.The transformational leadership behavior of kindergarten principals is at a medium to upper level.There are significant differences in the perception of kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior by kindergarten teachers with different types of classes,such as age,length of service,professional title,monthly income,kindergarten level and current classes,and no significant differences in the perception of kindergarten principals' transformational leadership behavior by kindergarten teachers with different types of education background,kindergarten type and labor relationship.3.The work engagement of kindergarten teachers is at a medium to upper level.There are significant differences in the work engagement of kindergarten teachers with different age,length of service,educational background,professional title,monthly income,kindergarten type,kindergarten level,class type currently taught and labor relationship type.According to the research results,the author puts forward the following suggestions: 1.education administrative department: Strictly enforce the entrance of kindergarten principals and kindergarten teachers;Strengthen the supervision and training of kindergarten principals and kindergarten teachers;Improve the system of compensation and incentives.2.kindergarten principals: Share the vision of development and stimulate the work motivation of teachers;Cultivate character and improve leadership charm;Conduct hierarchical and targeted management to give individual care and support to teachers;Reduce the psychological burden of teachers and form an innovative,cooperative organizational atmosphere.3.kindergarten teachers: Improve professional quality and enhance professional ethics;Adjust mentality and make concerted efforts to undertake construction...
