In the context of quality-oriented education and teaching reform,many educators continue to explore new teaching methods and teaching paths,and have achieved certain results.As an indispensable part of quality education,physical education plays an important role.In the background of teaching reform,although the teaching methods of physical education have been reformed and innovated,the traditional teaching methods are still in the majority in junior middle school volleyball teaching,which ignore the individual differences of students gradually exposed the disadvantages in teaching,which has been unable to meet the needs of the physical and mental development of contemporary students.However,as a new teaching method,the stratified teaching method has certain advantages and advanced nature compared with the traditional teaching methods,and it can make up for the deficiency of the current physical education teaching methods to a certain extent.Based on this,the author combined with teaching experiments and theoretical analysis,in-depth discussion on the practical application effect of layered teaching method in junior high school volleyball teaching,to provide some ideas for the reform of physical education teaching methods in primary and secondary schools.The research methods of this paper include literature,questionnaire,expert interview,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics.Two classes in grade one of Hongshan Branch of Nanjing No.13 middle school were taken as the experimental objects.The experimental class and the control class adopt the stratified teaching method and the traditional teaching method to carry out the teaching experiment for 12 weeks.By comparing the test results of body shape,physical quality,sports skills and sports learning attitude of the two classes before and after the experiment,this paper makes quantitative and qualitative analysis on the experimental results,and probes into the advantages and disadvantages of layered teaching method and traditional teaching method.Finally,the following conclusions are reached:(1)The layered teaching method has little effect on the changes of students' body shape in a short period of time.(2)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the layered teaching method has obvious advantages in improving the strength quality of male and female students and improving the speed and endurance quality of female students.(3)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the layered teaching method is more conducive to improving the students' volleyball technology.(4)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the layered teaching method is more conducive to improving students' learning attitude.(5)Layered teaching method is welcomed and recognized by most of the students,and they hope to continue to use layered teaching method in physical education.At the same time,in the practical application of the layered teaching method,the author also found that the experimental cycle is short,the teaching method is single and so on.Based on this,this paper puts forward some suggestions:(1)When teachers use the layered teaching method,the number of teaching hours should be extended to ensure the effect of the experiment.(2)We should combine the layered teaching method with other teaching methods to promote the development of students' physical quality in an all-round way.(3)Teachers often look at students from the perspective of development and actively find out the possibility of students in other fields.(4)In this paper,the layered teaching method is applied to other sports,especially in the fields not covered by previous scholars,and the feasibility of layered teaching method in physical education is further demonstrated.(5)Schools should encourage teachers to carry out stratified teaching of physical education,organize related training ofstratified teaching,and constantly explore and improve stratified teaching.
