In the traditional teaching approach,the teacher is the dominant role in class while the students are the passive receiver.People always stress the importance of teaching in class,ignoring the study of students themselves.They can't pay much more attention to the whole development of students,such as emotion,intelligence,personality and creativity.It is obvious that they didn't know about the relation between teaching and study clearly in class.In middle school period,the students have biology course in Grade7,Grade8 of junior school and in senior middle school.However,in Grade9 of junior school they can't have the course any longer,which leads to a big gap in biology learning.What's worse,they have to learn the course again in Gradel of senior middle school.During the period in senior school,the content of biology has enlarged itself and become more difficult to learn.With the teaching difference in senior school,it is hard for students to adapt to the learning pace.As a result,they aren't interested in learning biology and even are tired of learning.If the teacher can't focus on the situation and adjust the teaching methods,the situation will become worse.And soon it will be normal for the students to dislike the biology course.Faced with the severe situation,teachers should concentrate on the transitional teaching between junior school and senior school.Importantly,it has been a forced attempt for teachers to have an effective class teaching with a certain teaching strategy.With the new curriculum reformative concept 'All is for students',the paper tends to explore an effective teaching approach for bridging the biology teaching between junior school and senior school,combining the traditional advantages with the Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy.Through the research,the author sorts out the theory of the Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy and summarize the content connected the junior textbook with the senior textbook,which is intended for the practical application of Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy.It is also for the whole middle school students,cultivating their self-study ability and explorative ability,and improving their comprehensive and longlife development.Base on documentary study,experiment,questionnaire survey and case analysis,the paper explains the content of Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy:lead-into attract attention assessment),conclusion(consolidation,transfer and summary).The key point is how to combine the Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy with the transitional teaching for the purpose of effective teaching.During the research,the author makes full use of the teaching experience and theThree Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy to create a harmony and relaxing teaching environment,set up a standard and democratic atmosphere,develop the students'self-study ability and optimistic attitude as well,which is also offer the theory basis and the strategy of effective class teaching in biology transitional teaching.According to the research,the author finds that the Three Phases Seven Steps Teaching Strategy applied to biology transitional teaching makes the students in middle school interested in learning biology more in some way,but also improve their grades obviously,the self-study ability and creativity.What's more,it plays an important role in promoting the teaching efficiency in class.
