Since the revision of the Military Service Law in 2011,it has been stipulated that college students have changed from "delayed" to "applied".It is the general trend that college students apply to join the army.The number of college student soldiers and veterans returning to college has also increased significantly on college campuses.A group that cannot be ignored.This article adopts a qualitative research method,taking veteran returnee college students from S University as the research object,studying the current status of campus adaptation of veteran returnee college students and exploring the relevant factors affecting their school adaptation.According to the status quo and influencing factors of campus adaptation for veteran returnees,we can not only understand the main problems currently faced by veteran returnees and related reasons affecting their campus adaptation,but also further enrich the academic community's academics on veteran returnees.The research content is of practical significance to providing more accurate services and help for veterans returning to school.The study found that veterans returning to school on campus adaptation will have different adaptation problems in four aspects: physical and mental symptoms,academic adaptation,environmental identity,and interpersonal communication.Expectations of the past;family factors affecting their campus adaptation include the communication between individuals and parents and the overall function of the family system;school factors affecting their campus adaptation include welfare policies,docking processes,and school support.College students who has returned from military service should also be school social work focuses on groups.
