Zheng Xiaocang was 13 years old namely in show ability,attended Tsinghua to stay after the United States preparatory school,went to the United States to study under the influence of Dewey,deeply pragmatism education thought and domestic and foreign culture.After returning to China,he had been engaged in the cultivation and management of educational talents for a long time,and actively explored the development of Chinese education,especially in the reform of teacher education.This paper studied Zheng Xiaocang's important discourse on teacher education,and systematically revealed Zheng Xiaocang's positive significance in exploring the theory of teacher education through the elaboration of teacher training objectives,teacher professional ethics,teacher teaching contents,teacher training institutions and other contents.As training both educationalist Zheng Xiaocang's accomplishment and knowledge accomplishment,solid knowledge foundation knowledge,teaching attitude of teaching and educating,to develop scientific research training goal,the attitude of a teacher that educational target is a reflection of the nature of the education can induce students' positive tendency of knowledge,and make students clear way forward;Therefore,Zheng Xiaocang attached great importance to the professional moral education of teachers.He believed that the professional moral education of teachers should be influenced by the traditional Taoist concept,child-centered theory and personal factors.He believed that teachers should have both moral integrity,mental health and sense of cooperation,which reflects the humanistic,nurturing and practical characteristics of Zheng Xiaocang's Taoist concept.In terms of teaching content,according to the actual situation at that time he after being engaged in the teachers and students need to master the teaching content,think that theteaching content in teacher training institutions should pay attention to basic knowledge teaching,think choosing teaching contents to with practice,pay attention to practical problem to advocate the new idea.In terms of teacher training institutions,he believes that people with leadership are needed to prepare for the formation of leadership core,adopt scientific and democratic management methods,and attach importance to informal courses in curriculum setting,especially student associations and organizations.Zheng xiaocang was in the period of fierce cultural collision at home and abroad.Based on the Chinese reality,he well combined the Chinese traditional educational culture and foreign educational theories,which has certain reference significance for the reform and development of China's teacher education.
