As one of the core qualities of the geography discipline clearly stipulated in the“Geography Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(2017 Edition)”(referred to as the new geography standard),“Geography Practical Ability” has attracted the attention of teachers in the current geography teaching.The cultivation of students' geographic practical ability has also become a hot spot in the field of geographic education research.This article uses literature analysis and investigation methods to study the problems that arise in the process of developing high school geographic practical ability,and attempts to propose ways and measures to solve the problems.The first chapter focuses on the research background and research significance of geographic core literacy,especially geographic practical ability,and discusses the research status and development trends of domestic and foreign scholars on geographic core literacy,especially geographic practical ability.The analysis results show that there is little research on geographic practice in China before 2017.With the revision of the new curriculum standards and the increasing attention of education authorities,geographic practice is listed as one of the core literacy of geography,improving the geographical practice literacy of middle school students It has become an extremely urgent problem facing geography education at present,and the results of research-related papers have gradually increased.Finally,the author designed the corresponding research method and technical route according to the purpose of this research.The second chapter is based on the clear definition of relevant concepts such as geographic core literacy and geographic practical ability.This article divides geographic practical ability into four main types,namely: geographic tool ability class,survey and investigation ability class,geographic production ability class,Observation and observation capabilities,and expounded the theoretical basis of the study of geographic practicality,and put forward that the practice of geography is based on students.In the development of activities,students should be fully reflected in the idea of self-inquiry Mainly independent cooperation.According to the main purpose of this study,the third chapter uses the questionnaire survey as the main method to investigate the situation of high school geographic practical ability training,and analyzes the results of the investigation,thereby further revealing the main existing in the current high school geographicpractical ability training Problems and their causes.The fourth chapter aims at the problems existing in the cultivation of high school geography practical ability,from five levels of school,society,teachers,families and students,it puts forward the effective training strategy for high school students' geography practical ability.Among the five major levels,focusing on the school level,it is recommended to prepare funds and improve teaching conditions;organize teacher and student training to enhance the practical ability of geography teachers;improve the teacher evaluation mechanism,improve teacher treatment,and indirectly promote teachers to improve practical ability;at the teacher level,it is necessary Establish a lifelong learning theory;attach importance to the effective development of classroom geography practice activities;make a reasonable evaluation of students 'geography practice activities;students change their learning style and focus on inner will exercise;parents change the concept of children and focus on long-term development.The fifth chapter takes "thermodynamic circulation" as an example,and implements the cultivation of high school geography practical ability into specific teaching,and analyzes in a targeted way how to effectively overcome the objective problems in the cultivation of geography practical ability in specific teaching..In this case,the problem is introduced into the theme,and the students are guided to connect the old and new knowledge in the question.Through multimedia display,the students 'reading skills are gradually cultivated in the form of picture overlay,and then related knowledge is connected to form a comprehensive thinking habit to investigate.The activity form of the inspection is connected with the book knowledge,and the cultivation of students' practical ability in geography is emphasized.This study is based on Module1 and Module2 "Geography" of the People's Education Press,and is guided by the new curriculum standards.
