The Construction Of Relation-transforming Practical Path

These practise patterns that treat social work as something outside oneself,consider it as a job to begin and finish,follow technological operation procedure without any emotion,are opposed a lot by the author.The general pattern of practical process of social work as a action path is approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and widely known in the social work field.However,due to the unique development history of Chinese social work and its special cultural character,it will not be suitable or deep-going if we use the general pattern in flexibly in the actual circumstances,even becomes the superficial pattern which has been mentioned in the beginning and makes the author dislike.The phenomenons that farmers don't know social work career or seek help of the man who is unfamiliar in J country,there is no way to make an agreement between the social worker and the client,cause my consideration on the general pattern.Maybe there are other indigenized practise path to explain the general pattern.The author tries to seek a life-affecting-life practise path which is much more effective.The author selects a step-family as a case in J country and goes into the family as a teacher(firstly have a familiar role),then discovers the conflicts in parents,couple and between the sons and daughters,besides,there are 6 teenagers in the family,which make the helping process more troubled.Social worker takes root in the J country to experience the local culture and customs,then interact with the family members in the role of a teacher.In his stage,we become more and more familiar and the fellowship has got or deeper and deeper.Social worker need to infiltrate the professional relationship to change to unprofessional relationship to accomplish withdrawing the role of a teacher and transform to the role of social worker.And begins the journey to act together,to change together by applying the System Theory and social support network theory from the prospective of the Family Therapy.At last,the author generate a relation-transforming practical path as a conclusion which has a distinct character that unprofessional relation has a transforming function.The innovations on the three dims(skill,knowledge,ethics)of social work are: 1.On the practise skills,social worker make a conclusion that apply the unprofessional relationship to transmit from the unfamiliar relationship to the professional relationship basing on the community to decide what to do,besides,to think and to do the society meaning of social work.2.On the knowledge production,the author analyses the action inthe service case,and then generates a practical path(take root in community,integrate into the family,transmit the role,family therapy).3.On the ethics,the writer says we may break the rule that two relations in work process are harmful and limited as long as we obey the value of social work in the cultural background that rural people ask for help from the familiar one and no social work history.All in all,the author persist in the work style of life-affecting-life and rethink about the technological skills to explore the indigenized practical path.The practical path that the author explore in the case may have some reference values for the social worker to begin his career in the communities where people are familiar with each other but there is no job or development of social work.
