In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy and society and the continuous promotion of industrialization and urbanization, the gap between urban and rural development is increasing, and the rural surplus labor force is increasing rapidly.More and more rural surplus labor have to work or do business in developed areas far away from their hometown. However, due to the restrictions of family status and education policies, they are unable to take care of their children by themselves and attend school, sothe left behind children in the village came into being.According to the relevant statistics of the Ministry of civil affairs,in September 2018,there were more than 6.97 million left behind children in rural areas in China. The left behind children were far away from their parents for a long time, mostly raised by grandparents or other relatives.Because of the lack of care and necessary family education from their parents for a long time, many left behind children were lonely, eager for family relations' love, psychological imbalance, moral anomie, lack of self-efficacy and lack of self-efficacy Confusion in the future. The particularity of the economic, social environment and human customs in Yi District, the poor natural environment, the lack of infrastructure, the backward education level, the generally low cultural level of the parents and many children in a family and other factors, the left behind children in Yi District are more vulnerable to mental health and other related problems, they can't find help and support in time, which may lead to problems such as school weariness, truancy, personality depression and communication barriers, and may lead to behaviors deviant, illegal crimes or self abuse and suicide, seriously affecting their healthy growth and social harmony and stability. In this paper,438 rural left behind children in Y Middle School of Mabian Yi Autonomous County are taken as the research objects.By using quantitative method, their resilience and mental health level are measured by cd-risc and MHT.The existing problems and reasons are analyzed. The operation model of resilience proposed by Richardson is used to stimulate left behind children In order to improve their ability to resist external risk factors,to overcome and solve problems they are facing in life.By comparing the measurement results of resilience level before and after social work intervention,we can understand the improvement of their resilience level after social work intervention and the positive impact on them.Through the study, the following conclusions are drawn: the resilience level of left behind children in Yi area is significantly lower than non left behind children, and the resilience of Yi children is lower than Han children;the resilience of left behind children in Yi area can be improved through the intervention of social work;through the intervention of group work and case work, plus the restoration and reconstruction of the ecological environment system of left behind children in Yi area The close combination and positive interaction of "family + school + Village(community)" can effectively improve the resilience level of left behind children in Yi District.
