Based on the fact that the aging process in our country is deepening and the size of the family structure is constantly changing to nuclear families,the number of elderly people living alone continues to rise.Elderly people living alone lack family care in their lives,and they need to face multiple issues such as health,economy,living environment,and life emergencies,which can cause greater psychological pressure on the elderly people living alone.Social support is an effective way to solve the difficulties of the elderly and provide spiritual comfort.This article divides social support into subjective social support and objective social support,analyzes which type of social support has the greatest impact on the pressure of elderly people living alone,and how much subjective social support and objective social support respectively affect the perceived pressure of elderly people living alone,and Explore the influence of economic conditions and other factors on the stress perception of elderly people living alone.Thus,an effective way to relieve the perceptual pressure of the elderly living alone is explored.This article uses a census method to investigate all the elderly living alone in 10 neighborhood committees under the jurisdiction of S Street in Shanghai.The Social Support Assessment Scale and Perceived Stress Scale(PSS-4)were used to measure the social support and perceived stress of elderly people living alone.Using SPSS19.0 software for data analysis,the results show that:using multiple regression analysis,it is found that subjective social support is a negative predictor of perceptual pressure of elderly people living alone.The higher the degree of subjective social support,the lower the perceived pressure of elderly people living alone.Objective social support has no significant effect on the perceived pressure of elderly people living alone.Subjective social support has a greater impact on the perceived pressure of elderly people living alone.There is a negative correlation between the income of elderly people living alone and the degree of perceived stress.
