With the deepening of educational reform step by step,the importance of educational method reform is increasing day by day.Modern education is transforming from exam-oriented education to quality-oriented education,and knowledge education to intelligent education.Discussion teaching method is one of the preferred teaching methods in implementing quality education and intelligent education.At the same time,it meets the internal demand of modern teaching activities and the demand of talent training in today's society.The current research status,about the discussion-based teaching connotation,value,implementation principle and implementation process of research,but for the elementary school mathematics teacher use discussion-based teaching method of empirical study is less,the less influence on the effectiveness of discussion cause analysis,and put forward the strategy of the same,the lack of pertinence and extension.Therefore,by studying the application status of discussion teaching method in primary school mathematics and the causes of problems in the implementation process,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the effectiveness of discussion teaching method.Through the use of discussion teaching method,primary school mathematics teachers can help students analyze the thinking process,learn to communicate with mathematical language,effectively carry out the cooperation and interaction between teachers and students,and cultivate students' core competence in mathematics.This study pays attention to the connection between theory and practice.First of all,literature research method is used to comprehensively understand the research status and frontier trends in the research field of this topic,laying a foundation for theoretical analysis and argumentation of this topic.From the theoretical point of view,this paper deeply analyzes the significance and value of discussion method to primary school mathematics teaching,and expounds the uniqueness of discussion method in primary school mathematics teaching.Secondly,the factors influencing the effectiveness of the discussion method and the discussion method are found through the questionnaire survey to provide data support for the research strategy of discussion teaching method;At the same time,for the key questions in the questionnaire or the questions beyond the expectation,some teachers and primary school students were selected to conduct interviews on this question,to understand the actual thoughts of teachers and students,and to explore the real reasons for the effective implementation of the discussion teaching method.Finally,according to the survey of the status quo,action method,making preparation for discussion,problems that should be paid attention to in the discussion and evaluation after the discussion of strategy,put forward suitable discussion-based teaching,discuss the rules and exploring the content of the teaching practice discussionbased teaching implementation process,a detailed implementation process of discussion-based teaching method in classroom observations,and analyze the implementation of the results,according to the implementing effects found in discussing the effectiveness of the factors,causes to analyze problems,use improvement strategies,will implement again after correction of teaching design,analyzes its effect,to further improve the effectiveness of discussion method.Based on the comprehensive analysis of theory and practice,this study puts forward corresponding improvement strategies for the three essential factors of teachers,students and problems.In the application of the discussion method,teachers who play a leading role should accurately define their roles.As the subject of discussion,students should improve their discussion skills.At the same time,we should play the main role of discussing problems and pay attention to the hierarchy of objects involved in the discussion,as well as the breadth,dynamics,exploration and diversity of problems.
