As the general program of content and structure of science curriculum,curriculum standard has always been the most important part of all kinds of education and teaching reform.At present,the United States,which is one of the top countries in the world,has been reforming science education since the founding of the people's Republic of China.After years of practice and experience in education reform,it has gradually built a national science education system that is more suitable for the national conditions of the United States.This has also made the effectiveness of science education in the United States remarkable,and cultivated generations of elites for the United States.In April 2013,the U.S.Department of Education officially promulgated the next generation science standards.Its formulation is based on the results of many empirical studies and has been repeatedly tested in practice.The curriculum standard condenses the latest theoretical research results of American science education,and also reflects the future development trend of world science education.The analysis and Research on it has certain reference value for the reform of science education in China.After extensive discussion in the field of education and Research on front-line teaching,the Ministry of education of China officially released the science curriculum standard of compulsory education primary school to the society in the autumn semester of 2017,which also caused extensive discussion in the academic community.By comparing the curriculum standards of China and the United States,we try to find out the similarities and differences between the two countries,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the curriculum standards of our country through the method of comparison,try to give some suggestions on the optimization of the curriculum standards of our country,learn from the advantages and make up for the disadvantages,and then accelerate the quality and level of the formulation of the science curriculum standards of our country.From the perspective of curriculum standards comparison between China and the United States,this study adopts three methods: text analysis,historical research and comparative research,and makes a detailed analysis of the design ideas and structuralfeatures of China's compulsory education primary school science curriculum standards and the United States' next generation science standards.On this basis,the overall framework and curriculum principles of the curriculum standards are analyzed This paper makes a comparative study of the primary school science curriculum standards of the two countries from the perspectives of reading,curriculum objectives and curriculum contents.It is found that the standards of science curriculum in China have been greatly improved compared with the previous ones,for example,the disadvantages of being difficult and old before the reform of curriculum content,paying attention to children's interests and experience,and providing more instructive suggestions for teachers' teaching.However,there are still some deficiencies,such as the discontinuity of curriculum standards,the fault of teaching content in each stage,and how to change scientific exploration Lack of attention to practical ability and so on.Finally,in view of the shortcomings of the current curriculum standards in our country,some suggestions and strategies are put forward for improvement and improvement: pay attention to the connection of the contents of each learning section,strengthen the coherence and integrity of curriculum design;pay more attention to the cultivation of students' practical ability in the expression of curriculum objectives,promote students to transform scientific knowledge into scientific spirit and ability;improve the quality of teachers,pay attention to Teachers' professional development and growth,improve teachers' professional quality.
