Under the influence of the teaching concepts of "moral education first" and "quality education",thousands of primary and secondary schools responded to the call.They focused on the integrated development a of all students and carried out various forms of student association activities both inside and outside the school.As a part of this,folk music education has a profound impact on student education at the elementary and middle school level.In recent years,many school students' national orchestras have sprung up.Under this development trend,many orchestras need to have a form for the communication of ethnic music education.By this form,many orchestras can discuss and learn from each other on issues such as the organizational form and the improvement of professional standards,and thus the development of ethnic music education is promoted.As a result,the National Orchestra Performance(i.e."the Performance")came into being."Performance" is a non-competitive national music exchange activity.Since 2004,it has gathered the participation of many national and international orchestras.Shanghai,as the founding place of the "Performance",has been held every year for fifteen years without interruption.Under the leadership of the several organizations(such as Shanghai Education Commission,Shanghai Conservatory of Music,Shanghai Musicians Association,Youth Activity Center of Yangpu District)and the support of teachers and experts from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and various professional groups,the event has been recognized by Shanghai primary and secondary schools and Students' orchestras in various children's palaces and youth activity centers.Many teams have benefited a lot from the participation in "Performance".The author of this article participated in part of the work of the two years "Performance".In detail,the author conducted interviews and discussions with relevant organizations,mentoring experts and teachers,and conducted interviews with national orchestras of all characteristics related to it.For example,from the "Performance" activity,the role,impact,and significance of the activity on music education in primary and secondary schools are explored.Through investigation and research,the author deeply feels that "Performance",as a regional inter-school education platform for ethnic music,promotes the development of ethnic music education,the management system for inter-school music education activities,and the improvement of professional standards.The strengthening of traditional Chinese folk music education theory has created a lot of valuable experiences and played an active role.The development of "Performance" has become a guided,professional and group art activity."Performance" are the product of a new era.First of all,it has an important influence on thedevelopment of primary and secondary school music education.The activities are conducive to the popularization of folk music education.Secondly,it also can promote the inheritance and promotion of traditional culture in primary and secondary schools.Thirdly,it promotes the mutual exchange between various folk music groups;In addition,it promotes the cultivation of the comprehensive quality of primary and middle school students.In the final,the primary and secondary schools' orchestras have positive interactions with the development of "show performances".One is that the participation of student orchestras has enhanced the social impact of "show performances." The other is that it is conducive to the inheritance of national music culture.Art exhibition is the presentation and display of art and cultural performance in modern society,and it is a kind of art practice activity which is still under development.Now,the author thinks about the "Performance" activities in terms of musical culture inheritance,event management mechanism,and traditional music overseas transmission."Performance" still has potential in future music education.It is necessary to continue to improve the activity system and provide help and guidance for the practice of art education.
