Objective With the rapid development of society and the advancement of technology, children have fewer and fewer opportunities to participate in daily exercise. The problems of motor coordination and sensory integration are becoming more and more prominent. The existence of these problems will affect children's athletic ability, learning ability mental health and the development of social interactions. It is shown that the earlier detection and intervention play an increasingly significant role in solving these problems. This study will intervene through the family parent-child sports games and sensory integration training for young children who have poor movement coordination and sensory integration disorders, explore intervention methods, and analyze the effects of interventions, with an attempt to providing reference basis and new discovery point. Methods With the help of children's Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire(DCDQ),the children's Sensory Integration Development Assessment Scale and the children's Motor Coordination Ability Evaluation Scale(MABC-2),22 children were selected from a total of 391 children in 2 kindergartens in Beijing as the intervention subjects, including 10 in the control group and 12 in the intervention group. The control group carried out activities according to the original family sports habits. The children in the intervention group received concentrated parent-child game activities once a week and family autonomous parent-child game activities 3 to 4 times a week. The intervention lasted 12 weeks. The difference-in-difference model(DID)was used to analyze the intervention effects of motor coordination ability and sensory integration ability;the correlation analysis was used to understand the relationship between sensory integration changes and MABC-2 scores;the paired sample T test was implemented to analyze the children's concentration after intervention and other changes,as well as changes with parents' exercise skills. Results 1.The 12-week intervention, shows that the intervention effect of Manual dexterity(DID value = 3.617,t = 1.32,p = 0.193)have no sense of statistics but the intervention effect of ball skills, balance ability and overall motor coordination ability were both related with statistics significantly(DID values = 4.817,6.917,15.350;t = 2.09,2.11,3.18;p = 0.043,0.041,0.003).2.The intervention had significant statistics impacts on children's vestibular function and proprioception of young children(DID values = 8.483,10.417;t =2.03,2.06,and p = 0.049,0.046),but the intervention effect on tactile defense was not contributes to statistics greatly.(DID value=1.383,t = 0.18,p = 0.860).3.The changes in the total score of the MABC-2 test before and after the intervention,as well as the changes in manual dexterity and static/dynamic balance, were positively correlated with changes in vestibular function scores(r = 0.666,0.453,0.484,0.426;p = 0.001,0.034,0.022,0.048),and there was no significant correlation with changes in tactile defense and proprioceptive scores(p > 0.05).4.The results of interviews with teachers and parents showed that children's levels of concentration, language expression, social ability, emotional management, awareness of rules, and self-confidence significantly improved after the intervention(p < 0.05).5.The results of parental self-evaluation show that in addition to their motor skills(t =-2.250,p> 0.05),the amount of physical activity, the recognition of the importance of exercise, the ability to teach children's sports games, and the parent-child relationship were highly improved(t =-2.250,-5.237,-4.832,-8.060,-8.293;p <0.05).6.In the case of a full score of 10,the parents' score on the convenience of the game activity is 9.35 ± 0.81 points;the joy score is 8.10 ± 1.10 points;the rationality score is 9.10 ± 0.78 points;the satisfaction score of the autonomous parent-child game activities score is 7.80 ± 1.23 points, and the satisfaction score of the concentrated parent-child game activities is 9.50 ± 0.57 points;the comprehensive evaluation of parents on family game activities is 8.75 ± 0.79 points. Conclusion 1.The intervention method of family sports games integrating sensory integration training can effectively improve children's motor coordination ability, especially ball skills and balance skills, promote the development of children's vestibular function and proprioception, and contribute to children's other aspects, such as,concentration, confidence and so forth.2.The family intervention model based on home-based self-training and regular concentration activities with the characteristics of low cost and high efficiency.Parents' participation can not only promote the daily intervention, improve the coordinated development of children's sports, but also benefit the parents themselves.
