This article aims to comprehend the sensory integration dysfunction condition of Lugang township though investigating the sensory integration function of the first-grade primary school pupil in this town. And it put forward a reasonable solution by applying the specialized and targeted sports game trainings. The targeted sports game trainings are selected on the base of the sensory integration theory. In addition, this paper explores the methods that suitable for the development of sensory integration function for the children in the country by means of intervention experiment. This article is designed to search some simple, convenient, effective and inexpensive training methods to improve the sensory integration function of children, and to make the sensory integration training more popular to adapt the economic conditions of countryside. The method of literature, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics are used in this paper And 452 first-grade primary school pupils of the five rural primary schools(Mazhai Primary School,Wangxinzhuang Primary School,Huadian Primary School,Qiaozhai Primary School,Lugang Primary School)of Changyuan County,Lugang Township were selected to investigate the ability of sensory integration using the method of stratified cluster sampling with Sensory Integrative Scale.According to the findings, four classes of students in Lugang Primary School were selected for intervention study.Survey Results:(1)In the 452 subjects, the overall sensory regression rate is 47.3%,the mild dysregulation rate is 35%,the moderate dysregulation rate is 9.9%,and the severe dysregulation rate is 2.4%.(2)The study found that the rates of decline for the four types of sensory integration are 24.8%,20.4%,19.5% and 32.3%for vestibular imbalance, over defensive touch, poor body sensation and learning ability underdevelopment,respectively.(3)The results found that vestibular balance and proprioceptive ability of students are significantly improved before and after the intervention, and among the four types of sensory integration, vestibular balance of students are largest improved.Tactile defense ability and learning ability were not significant changed before and after intervention.(4)Physical activity indicators of the balance of eyes closed, sensory jumps were significantly improved before and after intervention.Conclusion:1.This investigation show that children with sensory disorders are as high as 47.3%,and the mild maladjustment accounting for 35%,which is the main share.2.By comparing the data before and after the intervention, one can conclude that these sports games which based on sensory integration theory are helpful for rural children to improve the sensory integration function, when considering the limited resources in rural areas.
