As one of the compulsory contents of college entrance examination,probability statistics plays an important role in teaching.In this paper,the content of probability and statistics in mathematics test questions from 2015 to 2019 is studied,with the old and new ideas and contents as the main line for comparative analysis,by referring to the relevant literature,To sort out the knowledge points related to probability and statistics,and seek for effective teaching strategies,and analyze the teaching impact.Firstly,by comparing the contents of the probability and statistics in the old and new curriculum standards,this paper found that: in the compulsory teaching materials,the lesson period of the probability and statistics in the new curriculum standards are less than that in the old curriculum standards;and in the new curriculum standards,the curriculum objectives are required to be more accurate,clearer,however,the difficult factor is increased;the course structure and the curriculum knowledge of the new curriculum standard are more systematic and complete.Besides,the teaching of information technology and other related content had been added to the content of the new standard curriculum.Secondly,judging from the national high-level exams in recent years,in the test of probability and statistics,the statistics generally examines the student's mastery of the classical and geometrical models in the form of small questions and often requires the students to correctly understand the chart,frequency distribution histogram,stem and leaf diagram,bar chart,fan chart and so on in the form of big questions.Sometimes,it focuses on the understanding and application of sample probabilities and digital features,and sometimes it focuses more on the understanding and application of digital features of samples;it not only requires students to master and understand the basic knowledge,but also requires students to integrate and apply knowledge effectively,which is in line with the actual work and life applications.Thirdly,during the front-line teaching survey research,the author found that,comprehensive examination of the knowledge of probability statistics are significantly enhanced in high school,and it is closely related to the students' actual life and learning,the student's test results are not satisfactory.In response to the above problems,combined with the author's research and analysis of high school probability statistics knowledge and the results of the investigation and analysis,the author summarizes the following improvement strategies and suggestions: change the concept of education and understand teaching ideas;create teaching situations and emphasize practical application;teach through classic cases.Finally,the author makes a comparative analysis of the teaching effect before and after the implementation of the teaching strategy.The paired sample T test shows that the math score of the experimental class is 88.7,which is a sharp improvement over the math score of the comparative class.P(sig)= 0.005,far less than the critical value of 0.050,indicating a clear correlation between the two groups of data;in the paired sample test,P(sig)= 0,much less than 0.050,show that there is a obvious difference between the two sets of figures,which also directly indicates that the effectiveness of the scheme was analyzed;here are the conclusions : the P values of the KS test and the SW test of the control group and the experimental group respectively were 0.200,0.690,0.200,and 0.681,which are all greater than 0.050,so they cannot reject the null hypothesis and assumes that the data follow a normal distribution.
