| Childhood is the key period for children to develop their self-character.Organizing children to carry out character education activities effectively at this stage can guide children to have a certain understanding of themselves and gradually cultivate their inner character.Children's formation of good internal virtues and behavior habits and shaping of good character can lay a solid foundation for future development.The contents and requirements in the field of health in the“Guidelines for Kindergarten Education”(for Trial Implementation)point out that it is necessary to cultivate children's good habits,strong,brave and fearless will and active,optimistic and cooperative attitude.Compared with conventional educational activities,illustrated picture book teaching can help children improve their attention to stories and promote children's character education.If the selected picture book content comes from children's own life experience,it can arouse emotional resonance.Taking picture books as the carrier to carry out character education for middle class children,taking picture book teaching as the breakthrough point,selecting picture books related to children's life experience and of interest to children,aiming at recording children in real environment,generating cases,tapping the role of picture book teaching,improving the problems existing in children's character education and cultivating good character.At the initial stage of the research,the researchers investigated the current situation of children's picture book teaching activities in middle classes by using observation and interview,and found that there were some problems in the picture book teaching activities,such as unclear activity goals,single teaching methods,closed questions,lack of pertinence in activity reflection,lack of dominant position of children and so on.Based on the analysis of the problems and solutions in the picture book teaching activities of middle class children,as wellas the character education problems of middle class children,this paper conducts action research in qualitative research,develops the character education activities of middle class children with picture books as the carrier,and guides children to cultivate good character in life by using extended activities,so as to expand the teaching effect of picture books.The subjects were 28 children(aged 4-5 years)in Class 2 of D Kindergarten in Nanning.According to the problems of children's character education in this class,the picture books related to children's interests and life experiences were selected for three rounds of action research,which were carried out according to the four links of planning,implementation,observation and reflection,focusing on the changes of children's courage,optimistic mood and honest character.By carrying out character education activities,the problems of children's character education can be greatly improved The reflection from the analysis of the practical research results of middle class children's character education with picture books as the carrier,and the related enlightenment for kindergartens,parents and teachers,will help enrich the theory of character education of middle class children's picture books and improve the quality of character education activities in kindergartens.Enhance children's parents' attention to children's picture book character education;Improve teachers' ability to educate children in picture books,observe and analyze,and improve their professional level. |
