The new round of curriculum reform aims to cultivate people by virtue and focuses on developing students' core literacy.Mathematical modeling literacy is one of the six core literacy of high school mathematics.In order to implement the mathematical modeling literacy,the new version of high school mathematics textbook also specially set up modeling topics.In this paper,the mathematics compulsory course of the A-edition ordinary high school textbook of People's Education in 2019 is taken as the research object,and the teaching strategies of mathematical modeling topic under the topic of probability and statistics are explored.The specific research contents include:(1)How does the topic of probability and statistics design the content of mathematical modeling topic in the new textbook?(2)What is the mathematical modeling literacy level of senior high school students in the study of probability and statistics?(3)How to effectively carry out the special teaching of mathematical modeling under the theme of probability and statistics in senior high school?First of all,through the text analysis of "Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" and the new textbook A Edition of People's Education in2019,it is found that the mathematical modeling topic of the new textbook meets the requirements of the curriculum standards in the overall design;The arrangement level of modeling special activities is progressive and gradually improved;The specific content presentation model is characterized by diversity and openness of data analysis;Under the guidance of the overall teaching goal of statistics,the teaching of statistical methods,statistical models,random events and data analysis should be emphasized,and the comprehensive application of knowledge to solve problems should be emphasized.Secondly,by means of interviews and questionnaires,this paper studies the students' mathematical modeling literacy level under the topic of probability and statistics.Generally speaking,students have a certain gap in mathematical modeling literacy in different dimensions.In the dimension of asking questions and collecting and sorting data,most students are at level 2,but they are at level 1 when using the data in the "real" situation to build a statistical model;In the dimension of data analysis,most students' data analysis ability is at level 1;In inference and explanation results,students' inference and explanation results are at level 1 and level 2.Finally,on the basis of literature research and investigation,this paper puts forward some effective strategies for mathematical modeling in high school under the theme of probability and statistics:(1)data collection,and the development of new teaching materials.Based on,but not limited to,the new textbook content.(2)Collating data,establishing models,and making full use of information technology resources to establish models.(3)In data analysis and statistical inference,students should give full play to their subjective initiative and feel the probability of statistical results from different angles.At the same time,in the process of teaching organization,attention should be paid to highlighting the stage elements of statistical modeling,making full use of the time after class and paying attention to the achievement display of students' modeling activities.(4)In the evaluation process,students are evaluated by means of multi-evaluation from the perspective of development,so as to promote the corresponding development of different students in the special activities of modeling.
