Under the promotion of Internet technology,automation and intelligent technology are rapidly applied to all walks of life,especially the modern advanced science and technology represented by information science and technology,which has rapidly changed the face of society and the way of life of residents.Based on this background,computer related professional and technical talents become the key to the future development of society and enterprises.As one of the branches of computer science,database technology is a required course for computer major in Colleges and even secondary vocational schools.However,there are still many problems in the current teaching situation of the database course in secondary vocational schools,including the old content of the course,relatively lagging behind in updating;the lack of innovative spirit in the course design,which is difficult to enhance the students' interest;the teaching emphasis on theoretical knowledge and neglect of practical operation,which weakens the practical application ability of students' knowledge.In view of the above problems,this paper first takes the teaching design theory and the constructivism learning theory as the theoretical basis of the development and design of the teaching platform of the database course.At the same time,combined with the actual situation of the database teaching in the secondary vocational school,according to the results of the questionnaire survey of teachers,it finds out the shortcomings of the current secondary vocational school teachers in the aspects of network teaching and teaching resources investment.Then,taking the library library management system as an example,the six basic principles of the teaching development and design of the database course are determined.Through the teaching objectives of the database course in vocational schools,the teaching design of the database course of the library management system is carried out in four stages: demand analysis,logical design,physical design and maintenance.Finally,the library management system is used for borrowing The database design of the book return function is the case to launch the curriculum design of database teaching.Through teaching practice and questionnaire survey,students' feedback on classroom teaching effect is investigated.The results show that the database course using the library management system not only deepens the students' understanding of the database theoretical knowledge,but also exercises the students' ability of teamwork,problem-solving and theoretical and practical application.Students' interest and enthusiasm in learning have been improved,and the form and content of database courses are generally recognized.
