Under the background of national comprehensive promotion of educational informatization,the application status of modern information technology in education and teaching is becoming more and more prominent.For junior High school geography knowledge that is abstract,trans-spatio-temporal and difficult to understand,the application of modern information technology is particularly important.It is imperative to organically apply modern information technology into geography teaching,change teaching methods and improve teaching quality.The existing literature shows that scholars' research on the applicationof information technology in geography teaching is in many aspects,but the research is more focused on urban high schools and junior high schools,and relatively less on rural junior high schools.Compared with teachers in urban and developed areas,rural teachers are less able to use information technology in teaching,and there are many problems in the integration of modern information technology and geography teaching,such as courseware as the center of classroom teaching,excessive use of information technology,blind improve of teaching progress by ignoring cognitive rules and so on.This research combined with the actual teaching situation of the rural junior middle school where it is located,explores the application of information technology in geography teaching,and provides practical materials for improving and optimizing the teaching of rural junior middle school geography courses and effectively improving the teaching quality.This study takes the rural junior high school in the author's—L Middle School in Lingshan County,Qinzhou City as an example for practical exploration.This research is mainly based on behavioral learning theory,constructivist learning theory,and mastery learning theory.It uses literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and observation method to carry out research.Through the investigation of the application status of information technology in rural junior middle school geography teaching to the students of grade seven and eight of L middle school and geography teachers,understand theapplication of information technology in geography teaching,analyze the existing problems,and put forward the application based on the actual situation of the school Information technology improves geography classroom teaching strategies and implements them specifically in teaching practice.This research is mainly composed of the following seven parts:The first part of the thesis is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the research background of this subject,expounds the domestic and international research review,research purpose and significance,research ideas,innovations and research methods.The second part of the thesis is mainly about the related concepts of the application of information technology in geography teaching and an overview of the relevant theoretical aspects of this subject.First,define the core concepts of "information technology","effective teaching",and "Internet +";then,based on the reality of this topic,behaviorist learning theory,mastering learning theory,constructivist learning Explain the theory.The third part of the thesis is the survey and analysis of the current status of the application of information technology in rural junior middle school geography teaching.Through questionnaire surveys and interviews with teachers and students of L Middle School,students prefer to apply information technology to the teaching classroom,but the learning effect is poor.Through analysis,it is found that the use of information technology in geography teaching to carry out teaching activities has the following problems: teaching is centered on courseware technology,and the students' ability to independently explore and think is not cultivated;excessive use of information technology,teachers are mainly auxiliary,reducing students' interest in learning;teachers are unrealistic,ignore students' cognitive laws,and improve blindly teaching progress.The fourth part of the thesis aims at the problems existing in the application of information technology for geography teaching in rural junior middle schools,and puts forward the goals and principles of using information technology for effective geography teaching.In order to stimulate students' interest in exploring geographical knowledge,enhance the training of junior high school students' comprehensive ability,and enhance students' attitudes and thinking quality of learning and knowledge,the principle of task-driven teaching,the principle of information technology as a tool,and the principle of ability the principle of combining student-led teacher leadership,the principle of coordination and coordination of individual cooperation and personalized learning,and the basic principle of seeking truth from facts.The fifth part of the thesis is to realize the effective geography teaching in rural junior high schools by using information technology.The author first designed the teaching mode of using information technology to carry out effective geography teaching,and then explored the teaching cases.The sixth part of the paper mainly summarizes the classroom teaching effect based on the integration of modern information technology and geography teaching.The application of modern information technology in geography teaching realizes the transformation of static into dynamic and "activation" classroom.Abstract into images,easy to understand geographical things;travel through time,demonstrate the evolution of geographical things and other effects.The seventh part of the paper are basic conclusions,reflections and prospects.
