Study On Development Strategy Of Independent College

The domestic independent college was originally derived from the secondary college running in the private institutions of public higher education.In 1999,the secondary colleges running under the private mechanism in public higher education institutions developed rapidly because the original educational resources could not meet the great demand of the nationals for higher education caused by the enrollment expansion of higher education.In response to the irregularities arising from the development process,the Ministry of Education issued the “Opinions on Regulating and Strengthening the Management of Independent Colleges with New Mechanisms and Models” in 2003.Thus,the independent college was officially born.Compared with public and private colleges and universities,due to the short running time and other problems,the independent college has its own shortcomings and weaknesses.In the face of numerous external competitions and threats,how to gain an advantage in competition has put forward a huge challenge to independent colleges.The strategic analysis is used to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the internal and external environment of TJBD independent college,then the scientific and reasonable competitive development strategy is formulated so that the college can obtain continuous competitive advantage and strategic growth.The study is divided into seven chapters,and the first chapter is the introduction.The background and significance of the research are expound,also the ideas,methods and framework of the research are introduced in chapter one.In addition,the expected results and innovations of this paper are explained.The second chapter is literature review.The basic theory of corporate strategy and the methods of strategic environmental evaluation are reviewed,the research status of independent colleges' development strategies at home and abroad are introduced in chapter 2.The third chapter is TJBD strategic environment analysis.The external environment of TJBD is analyzed by macro environmental analysis method and general environmental analysis method,and its internal environment is analyzed from two aspects: resources and ability.The fourth chapter is TJBD SWOT analysis.On the basis of TJBD strategic environment analysis,TJBD's internal advantages,internal disadvantages,external opportunities and external threats are summarized,and four strategic plans of SO?ST? WO and WT are extracted by SWOT matrix model.The fifth chapter is the selection and implementation of TJBD development strategy.Through the comparison and analysis of the four strategic plans,the suitable development strategy for TJBD is selected as a hybrid strategy with a growth model,and clear the specific development strategy implementation ways.The sixth chapter is TJBD's strategic safeguard measures.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the development strategy,specific strategic safeguard measures are put forward,including improving the strategic system,doing a good job in strategy launch,strengthening strategy implementation and strengthening strategic control.The seventh chapter is the summary and outlook.The research situation and shortcomings of this paper,as well as the areas that should be paid attention to in the future are summarized.In this paper,through the in-depth study of the development strategy theory,use the tool of strategy analysis,the specific development strategy of TJBD independent college was studied in detail,the application of strategic management theory has been expanded.At the same time,there are few development strategy cases for independent colleges to learn from.The research results of the selection and formulation of TJBD development strategy in this paper can provide reference value for the development of other similar independent colleges.
