Study On The Optimization Of Mediation Programs From The Perspective Of Family Social Work Taking The Golden Mediation Program Of Jiangxi Satellite TV For An Example

One family is the cell of society.Mediation programs which are mainly aimed at escaping conflicts of the family,put the mediation process on the screen.They have realized the social functions of the media,have innovated social governance and have promoted social harmony.However,the traditional mediation programs have entered a "turning point" in their life cycles after a period of development and prosperity.We can explore the practice of social work in more fields and achieve win-win results,by combining the theory,the methods and the skills of family social work to mediate.At the same time,we can not only enhance the profession of the mediation programs,improve the ratings and promote the optimized development of TV programs,but also spread the concept of social workers,promote the spirit of social workers and enrich the theory of social work.The study analyzes the development of contemporary family issues and mediation programs in China.It then shows the current mediating process and practical difficulties of the mediation programs,by social workers' in-depth observation of the gold medal mediation group,interviewing with producers,choreographers,observers,new media editors and persons concerned to mediate.According to the sequence of mediation,the author describes hotline contact,reception of persons,on-site mediation,follow-up revisits and other aspects.To Concentrate on the general practical procedures of the family social work,the five steps of case reception and relationship,goal and plan-making,family assessment,intervention and settlement,we combine with mediation programs.Focusing on the core of on-site mediation,this paper introduces the perspective of family social work and shows the areas that need to be improved.The study discovers those difficulties of mediation programs.They are mainly manifested in: initial contact with hotline,pressure to search for the case owner to establish relationship,writing a script to sort out conflicts,making goals and service plans which are difficult to implement;on-site mediation to alleviate problems,less usage of professional methods of the family social work,neglecting the family social work ethics in pursuit of TV effects,high revisit cost of programs,the mediation effects that are hard to guarantee after the case is closed.The paper puts forward to some optimization strategies.They are proposed in this study: the strategy to practice the ethics of the family social work,the strategy to strengthen the application of professional methods of the family social work;the strategy to co-create a new model of "mediation + social workers" through the early,middle and late stages of mediation.The first chapter of this study is the introduction,the second chapter is the literature review,three to five chapters respectively introduced the rise and development of mediation programs,practical difficulties and optimization strategies.Finally,this study takes a representative program of "gold medal mediation" as the case.Great changes have happened in the thoughts and behaviors of the persons concerned to mediate,by comparing the results between before and after the intervention.It has verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the family social work in optimizing the mediation program.
