President Xi Jinping stressed that it is the fundamental task of universities to cultivate people with morality at the National Education Conference.In the new era,the constant innovation and reform of the management mode of college students is crucial to realize the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality.In recent years,the“Academy”is an innovative management mode of college students,which has developed rapidly in many colleges and universities in China.What's more,the disadvantages of traditional student management are eliminated in this mode,which also affirmed by some scholars.However,in some universities,the “Academy” mode is still in the original stage of the college system.In other words,it is still mainly experience-oriented,and there is no systematic implementation plan or method.The author takes Xi'an International University as the research subject and the new management mode of “School +Academy”as the research problem,used the literature questionnaire and interview method,the comprehensive analysis of “School +Academy”mode.On the basis of the mode is analyzed the main problems and reasons existed in the finally discusses the countermeasures.This paper attempts to through comprehensive analysis of the mode“School+Academy” background,characteristics and effect to find the defects:awful general education result,defective work of teaching management and college education,and deficient students ability of all-round development.But the main reasons of those problems include insufficient perception of administrators and partial students,and limited managerial level.Therefore,the key to solve the problem is to complete the student management mode of “School + Academy” by starting from four aspects:emphasizing the construction of people and the educational function of traditional culture and so on.In this way,they can improve the“School+Academy”mode.Therefore,we should integrate with the excellent implementation cases of domestic and foreign universities in parctice and comprehensive evaluation,and gradually improve this mode from four aspects.Although the limitation of the author's level and ability,there are still some shortcomings,the author hopes to explore a practical way to develop the “School+ Academy” mode,so as to make some contribution to the ideological and politicaleducation of private college students in the new era.
