With the deepening of the new curriculum reform of basic education,robot education in primary and secondary schools in China has developed rapidly,and its educational value has been preliminarily recognized by the society.However,there are some universal problems in the process of teaching implementation,such as course standards and teaching materials are not unified,the teaching form is dominated by competition,the teaching content is single,the evaluation method is single,and the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability is neglected.In the process of teaching,the phenomenon of "emphasizing imitation rather than innovation" is particularly prominent among middle school students.The cultivation of students' creativity is lacking.The teaching design model of "effective failure" provides a new perspective for the design of robot teaching activities.Firstly,this study analyzes the research status of robot education and effective failure theory at home and abroad through literature research.The current situation of robot teaching in junior high school is analyzed through investigation.Secondly,the feasibility analysis of the application of the theory of "effective failure" in junior high school robot teaching was carried out.Combined with the current situation of junior high school robot teaching and the teaching design model of "effective failure",a robot teaching flow chart based on the theory of "effective failure" was initially constructed.Teaching is divided into two stages.The first stage is the "exploration-generation" stage,which reduces the indoctrination of knowledge by teachers,but provides opportunities for students to learn scaffolding and generate a variety of solutions.The second stage is the "integration-consolidation" stage,which provides students with the opportunity to explain key features and enable them to reorganize the concept of goals.Finally,through action research,the problems in teaching practice were solved in the three rounds of teaching practice,and the activities of teachers and students were refined in combination with teaching practice,and the teaching flow chart was revised and improved.Through the statistical analysis of interview contents,questionnaire data and work evaluation scale data,it is found that the robot teaching activities based on the theory of "effective failure" have a positive impact on the cultivation of students' creativity tendency and problem solving ability.
