Children's reading is the basis of national reading,and family accompanying reading is an important way to promote children's reading.Junior students of primary school are in the early stage of formal learning to read,and are in a very low level of literacy;their brain structure,which affects reading comprehension,is not perfect yet,and their inadequate social cognitive ability leads to their weak comprehension;attention-related brain areas are not well developed,resulting in their low attention levels.Therefore,it is difficult for the junior students to read independently,and parental accompanying reading and correct guidance is necessary before they have the corresponding ability.Publishing industry is both the producer of book,the reading object,and the service provider of readers,the reading subject.Therefore,by understanding the current situation of family accompanying reading for junior students of primary school,we can produce books suitable for children of this age,and summarize the problems in parental accompanying reading for junior students of primary school,and provide guidance for parents in optimizing the methods of accompanying reading and the environment settings from the perspective of the publishing industry,to enable children to become interested in reading in the early stage of formal learning to read.Based on the survey data of the Questionnaire on the Current Situation of Family Reading Companionship for Junior Students of Primary School,adopts literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview these three methods,and uses relevant theoretical knowledge of psychology and publishing to analyze the survey results.It is found that family accompanying reading for junior students of primary school features parents imparting knowledge and cultivating interest,children being more independent with accompany,paper books as main reading materials,good external conditions for accompanying reading and,children who are accompanied by family members when reading developing better reading habits.But there are five problems: lack of accompanying reading concept,father's low participation,too simple guidance method,insufficient authoritative guidance in reading material selection and most parents seldom reading.The above problems have the following enlightenment for the publishing industry? Integrate the concept of companion reading into the book production process to meet the needs of parents of lower grades of primary school students to accompany reading,and at the same time guide parents through books to optimize reading guidance methods.Under the background of digital irreversibility,design it also launched digital products that formulate plans and guidance programs for parents to assist parents in efficiently accompany their children to read.Organize parent-accompanied reading book clubs to allow parents to optimize the accompanying reading method from practice.Integrate various industries to promote the construction of graded reading,so that parents and children it is easy to find books that suit them.Finally,the bookstore creates a companion reading place to provide parents and children with a better companion reading environment.
