A Study On The Improvement Of Social Adaptation Of Migrant Children Through Social Work Intervention In The Context Of Epidemic Disease

The outbreak of New corona virus in 2020 which has brought the fourth wave of epidemic until March 2022.This realistic background has led to the limitations of holding social activities across regions,making it difficult for many social service organizations to hold their activities as usual.External risks have forced the transformation of social organization services represented by social work,benefiting from the new social situation of the current Internet development,the way of communication and interaction between people has gradually developed into a new field of "virtual society" and "network interaction".The social group of migrant children is in an important period of physical and mental development,which is the basic stage of individual life course.Migrant children need a healthy family environment,school environment and social environment to adapt to and integrate into the society when they move to a new urban city with their parents.However,the attack of the new corona virus has hindered the pace of people going to work and school,and many people have been forced to live in isolation.In this paper,AGIL model is established from the perspective of structural and functional theory to analyze the current situation of migrant children and their families’ social adaptation during the New Crown epidemic.Through the collection of data,it is found that: first,migrant families face challenges in their adaptive function during the epidemic,that is,family economic pressure is tight.Second,during the epidemic,these families faced challenges in their goal acquisition function,that is,family relations were strained.Third,during the epidemic,the integration function of mobile families faced challenges,that is,the lack of multiple subject resources.Fourth,during the epidemic,the function of the mobile family model faced challenges,that is,the misleading of public opinion.The sudden changes in family and social environment further have a negative impact on the physical,psychological,social and other aspects of social adaptation of migrant children.The practical case of this study is based on the COVID-19 epidemic and relying on new communication technologies such as the Internet,to provide group social work practical services through the network for migrant children who are temporarily unable to enter the campus for normal study and life,so as to help migrant children improve their social adaptation.At the same time,it also provides practical experience for the improvement and development of social work service system in the future and the promotion of network service form.Through the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research,the practice of practical activities,and the dialectical analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of network social work.The author draws the following conclusions: First,the intervention of network social work on the improvement of migrant children’s social adaptation ability is feasible and effective.Second,the path to promote the social adaptation ability of migrant children through the improvement of family structure and function.Third,the development path of network social work from the perspective of structure and function.
