Family Care Risk Of Poor Disabled Persons And Research On Intervention Of Social Work

The battle to get rid of poverty has reached the last critical moment,and it has become a top priority to accelerate the poverty alleviation of the poor and disabled.It is very difficult for families with disabilities to get rid of poverty.Sometimes it is not to say that they can be lifted out of poverty by giving some subsidies.The realistic difficulties they encounter are more complex.If the risks within the family are not properly controlled,they will produce external risks.Even have an extremely bad impact on society.Families with poor persons with disabilities are unable to extricate themselves from the dual plight of disability and poverty.These high-risk families are very vulnerable and eager for society to help them out of risk.In order to understand the current situation of poor families with disabilities in family care,to explore the various risk factors and protective factors encountered by family members in the process of taking care of the disabled in their families,and to analyze the reasons why it is difficult for families to reduce their risks.In order to help this group out of difficulties,restore the normal operation of the family,and provide intervention countermeasures for social workers when carrying out family work.Through an internship in Shanghai S Social work Development Center from March to August 2019,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on 100 poor disabled families in J area,and selected 20 typical families to carry out in-depth semi-structured interviews.the interview data were transcribed into verbatim and summarized,and finally the relevant conclusions were drawn.Through the research,it is found that the current situation of family care for the poor and disabled is different,and most of the family states show the following characteristics: the way of family care is lack of professionalism,the caregiver is single,and the care is not sustainablebecause of the periodicity of life.The satisfaction of family care is generally low.The risks encountered by families are more complex,which can be divided into explicit care risk and implicit care risk.If we regard the family as an ecological whole,then the families of poor people with disabilities are morbid ecosystems.In the face of risk,because there are many and unpredictable sources of risk within the family,the ecosystem produces too many negative beliefs,the family structure is destroyed,and the interaction between family members is poor,so the anti-risk ability within the family is very fragile.In addition to the internal ecology of the family,it is also unable to provide normal help in the external ecological environment because of the incomplete social support and security system.Because the family is the core ecosystem of the disabled,social workers should strive to reconstruct the protective factors of risk families.What's more,social workers should give full play to the role of resource links,establish and improve diversified social work service paths,and link up many departments,so that the government,communities and social organizations can work together to help poor families with disabilities,improve family conditions,enhance family capacity,and reduce family risks.
