School-based teacher training is one of the most important ways of the teachers' in-service training.Through previous literature review,we know that school-based training,as one of the effective ways for teachers' professional development,its effectiveness still needs to be improved.From the previous investigation on school-based training,it is found that The lack of teachers' principal position and the lack of research on teachers' professional development needs are the most important and fundamental reasons for many problems in school-based training.According to the survey,there are many puzzles and difficulties need to be solved.Therefore,from the perspective of teachers' professional development needs,combined with the problems and needs of primary school teachers' professional development,the improvement strategies of school-based training can not only improve the effect of school-based training,but also can effectively promote teachers' professional development through effective school-based training activities.This essay will talk about the background and meaning of the study to to show the significance and the necessity of this study.By describing the literature review,concept definition,research content and methods,the related research is clarified and the research ideas and methods are put forward.The data received from the questionnaire and the interview is categorized and expounded under various topics.According to the analysis of the data,the current situation of the school-based training in L district of Chengdu,the current status of the professional development of the primary school teachers,and the problems of school-based training in meeting the professional development needs of teachers can be found.And three reasons are found: the rigidityof school-based training mode,the imperfect evaluation system and the limitation of school-based training activities.Finally,according to the problems and needs of primary school teachers' professional development,combined with the effective ways of teachers' professional development and school-based training,this paper proposes improvement strategies for school-based training based on teachers' professional development needs.Including investigating the needs of teacher professional development,perfecting the teachers training system for different teachers,and change the evaluation method of teacher professional development.
