An Influence Research On The Logistics Development And The Efficiency Of Manufacturing Industry In The Yangtze River Economic Zone

Under the background new economic norm,issuing of Yangze River Economic Zone Strategy and the Medium and Long-time Planning Of Logistics Development is an important measure of development.The study about the development of logistics industry in Yangze River Economic Zone not only match the country' s policy,but also provide a reference for the development of Yangze River Economic Zone,the last but the most important a supplement and improvement for the research.This paper mainly do the following research:Firstly,I combed the relevant theories in detail and analysis the development mechanism of logistics industry.Secondly,using the method of literature research and field research to analysis present situation and existing problems of logistics industry and manufacturing industry in Yangze River Economic Zone.Thirdly,I use the DEA-Malmquist index to estimate the productivity of Yangze River Economic Zone from 1999 to 2013,to analysis the changing and increasing origin of manufacturing productivity from the sight of time and region,and build an econometrics model to test how the development of logistics industry influence the manufacturing productivity,and use Tobit model to analysis the same problem.Fourthly,I put forward countermeasures refer to the aspect of promoting the development of logistics industry,boosting the development of manufacture industry and the relationship between them two.After careful and scientific research,this paper conclude these conclusions:firstly the development of logistics industry in Yangze River Economic Zone is unbalanced,the regional cooperation need to be strengthened,the informationization level is low,the overall quality in logistics industry need to be improved,the manufacturing industry there is regional imbalance seriously,the industry growth point is single.Secondly,the overall average growth rate of productivity in Yangze River Economic Zone is 1.7%,thanks to the technological progress which is 1.5%,pure technological progress is 0.1%and scale efficiency increase is 0.1%.Thirdly,the influence of logistic industry development on manufacturing industry is complex,the logistic industry development has a positive effect on manufacturing industry development alone,but the level of policy has positive effect on the productivity of logistics industry,the city development level has a negative influence on the spoilover effect of the logistics industry and manufacturing industry.
