Industrial cluster,as a form of industrial organization,has its own strong gathering function and competitive advantage.Industrial cluster is not only the hot spot in research of national makers and economists,but also has become the important element for all countries and regions to seek competitive advantage and enhance international competitiveness.With the rise of the Central and Western Development,"The zone and Road","China Manufacturing 2025" national strategy and the implementation of the Yangtze River economic zone guidance issued,marking the Chinese regional economic development focus from the past into the coastal open,to the east coast and the West open,this transformation provides a new the power for the development of the Yangtze River Economic zone.Manufacturing industry cluster is the main part of industrial cluster,and also the important support for the construction of the Yangtze River Economic zone.Study of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry cluster,is conducive to accelerate the transformation of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry cluster upgrade,is conducive to the Yangtze River economic zone to actively participate in international competition and cooperation.This paper takes the manufacturing industry of 11 provinces and cities of Yangtze River economic zone as the research object,and analyzes the present situation of the manufacturing industry development and the agglomeration of the manufacturing industry cluster,in the clear and open a new round of development of the Yangtze River economic zone and “Chinese Manufacturing 2025” background the implementation of the strategy,the Yangtze River economic zone,lack of manufacturing industry cluster development,the establishment of manufacturing industry cluster development strategy,the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry cluster development strategy.This article is divided into five chapters,the first chapter mainly describes the background,significance and method of thinking about the manufacturing cluster of the Yangtze River Economic zone;The second chapter focuses on industrial cluster research progress,research review and so on;The third chapter introduces the basic situation of the development of the Yangtze River economic zone and the opportunities and challenges faced by the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry,and the structure of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry is analyzed,and makes a structural analysis of the manufacturing sector of the Yangtze River economic zone,and points out the key point of the future development of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry;The fourth chapter introduces the measurement index of industrial clusters(industrial spatial concentration rate,regional industrial concentration and location quotient),and through the analysis of three indicators of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry cluster development status,pointed out the shortage of the manufacturing industry cluster development in the Yangtze River Economic zone;The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the future development of the Yangtze River economic zone manufacturing industry cluster.
