| The history of regional forestry is one of the most important research fields in recent yearsis,It mainly discusses the distribution,changes and rules of forest resources in a geographical region in different historical periods,and investigate the forestry organization and the forestry-related laws.Hexi corridor is located in the northwest of Gansu Province,the climate is arid,less precipitation and More sandstorms,The soil is mainly desert soil and saline soil.The natural conditions determine the growth of the Hexi Corridor,in addition to the growth of spruce in Qilian Mountains,in the vicinity of rivers or lakes with the growth of drought resistance of poplar,willow,elm,sycamore,etc..Compared with the present period,the forest resources in Hexi corridor During were relatively large and the distribution was extensive.However,with the long-term unreasonable development of the Hexi area,and the deterioration of the ecological environment,the forest resources in the area have been gradually reduced.The history of forest changes in the Hexi Corridor area can be regarded as a microcosm of the forest changes in the northwest region.To explore the history of forestry in the Hexi Corridor,it can provide a case for the academic circles to carry out systematic research on the regional forestry history in the period of Chinese history,especially can be a typical example for the study of the history of forestry in arid regions of Western ChinaThis article combines the historical data and local chronicles,archives,using the research methods of historical and historical geography,to study the distribution and changes of forest resources in the Hexi Corridor during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,As well as the history of forestry administration,forest use,forest products and sales.The following conclusions can be drawn from the study :First,the distribution in Hexi Corridor is characteristics of forest resources in East than in West.Under the influence of war and natural disasters,the forest resources of the Hexi Corridor in the period from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China continued to decrease.Second,Under the guidance of the national forestry policy,the forestry institutions and forestry policies of the Hexi Corridor are changed to specialization and legalization,which Promoted the development of forestry in Hexiregion during the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,especially during the Republic of China.Third,the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China Hexi Corridor of the forest in addition to daily expenses,or by the warlords for the construction of private residence,or government agencies requisitioned in highway construction,coal,post and telecommunications and other undertakings.Fourth,Hexi area of forest products is limited,can only meet the needs of local people,However,the forest byproduct Cistanche,rhubarb,licorice and other herbs due to yield,good quality,sold to neighboring Qinghai,Xinjiang,and even some exported to Shanxi.The study on the status of the forest industry in Hexi Corridor in the historical period can provide reference for the cultivation,management and environmental protection of the Hexi area. |
