In recent years, the global warming caused by the CO2 gas emissions has become the focus of the international community. The total amount of CO2 emissions in China is increasing year by year, and in 2006 it surpassed the United States and became the largest carbon emitter in the world. The developed countries represented by the United States are increasingly accusing the "China climate threat theory",which requires China to undertake more responsibilities for reducing emissions. However, from the perspective of trade carbon transfer, the rapid growth of CO2emissions in China not only stems from the extensive domestic mode of economic growth, but also relates to the continuous growth of China's foreign trade scale. For a long time,China and the United States are the second largest trading partners, but from the perspective of trade carbon transfer,Sino-US trade will have a huge impact on China's CO2 emissions.First of all, based on the Sino-US trade as the starting point, this paper through the construction of multi-regional input-output model to calculate embodied carbon of China exports to the United States and the United States exports to Chinese in2001-2014,which using as a way to whether the United States transfer carbon emission to Chinese through trade.According to the calculated results,we describe the US trade carbon transfer from the three dimensions, the whole, the stage and the industry. Finally,we use structural decomposition model to analyze the factors driving the US trade carbon transfer to China from three aspects, including technological progress, trade structure and trade scale. We also explore strategies for China to deal with the carbon transfer in the US based on the analysis results. The results of this study show that:2001-2014 China indeed undertake cross-border transfer of carbon emissions of the United States through trade, which shows a rising trend;the stage shows a rise-drop-rising trend;high degree of industry concentration. The result of factor decomposition shows that exports are major factors in promoting the transfer of the United States trade Chinese carbon;the reduction direct carbon intensity and the improvement of the structure of intermediate inputs contribute to the inhibition of carbon on the US trade Chinese transfer trade;China on the trade structure in the early stage of the transfer of carbon trade China but later in suppressing us,on the transfer of carbon trade Chinese.Although the effect is weak,it also provides a way to explore the strategy of China to deal with the US trade carbon transfer.
