Thailand is a country with well-developed tourism and rich natural and cultural tourism resources.In recent years,Chinese tourists have become a key factor to promote the development of Thailand's tourism,especially the tourism and hotel industry in Bangkok,which has further developed Thailand's tourism industry.The flourishing development of tourism also affects the hotel industry in Thailand.The Research Report of Thailand Kai Tai Research Center,the development speed and employment rate of Thailand hotel industry is far beyond the traditional industry.The success of hotels is strongly related to the management characteristics of hotel managers.Therefore,studying the management characteristics of star hotels has a profound effect on the further development of Thailand's hotel industry.This study explored the management characteristics of the star rated hotels in Bangkok and established a theoretical framework based on the views of relevant scholars.The theoretical hypothesis on the relationship between star hotel managers' characteristics and their own job satisfaction was made.The study used the method of literature review and the questionnaire survey method of the quantitative analysis to collect data.Finally,the SPSS statistical analysis software is used to analyze the common characteristics of the hotel managers,the correlation method and the regression analysis method are used to test the theoretical hypothesis.The results showed that there were more men than women working as managers in hotels in Bangkok,most of them have high degree of postgraduate education,and have rich experience in the hotel industry.The hotel manager's physical,background,intelligence,personality and management are relevant to their job satisfaction,while the motivation and social characteristics are not relevant to their job satisfaction.The result also collated and summed up the open questions,including six common problems,i.e,"management mode","development strategy","career planning","enterprise culture construction","employee incentive mechanism" and "foreign language communication ability",and finally made corresponding countermeasures suggestions.
