Warehouse is a link between production and sales of enterprises.The rationality of Warehouse facilities planning will affect the operating costs and work efficiency of warehouse directly,which is crucial to the survival and development of enterprises.The reasonable warehouse facilities planning can take full advantage of the resources of warehouse and shorten the distances of material handling,and it enhances the operation effectiveness of warehouse.In the new situation of competition,enterprises pay more and more attention to the importance of warehouse facilities planning while enterprises are innovating and developing themselves constantly.XWE Company is selected as the object of research in this thesis.Aiming at the problems of the low space utilization,long waiting time of materials enter and exit the warehouse,logistics route length and so on in the process of warehouse facilities planning,the scheme is put forward which achieves the purpose of solving the actual problems in the enterprise.First of all,according to the actual situation of the enterprise,this thesis makes the storage policy of the warehouse and obtains the suitable storage policy for the warehouse by contrast to several main storage policies.Secondly,on the basis of determining the storage policy of the warehouse,this thesis designs the facility planning of the warehouse,and uses the method of SLP to distribute the functional areas of the warehouse,and determines the logistics line of the warehouse,and compares the logistics distance between functional areas before and after the improvement.After the layout is determined,the method of ABC is employed to classify the goods and the layout of the pallets are optimized in the storage area,and the F-D diagram is drawn to analyze and compare the distances of material handling before and after the plan.Finally,the thesis employs Flexsim to simulate the warehouse layout before and after the plan after confirming the program of facility layout.It establishes the warehouse layout model before and after the plan respectively and runs.To verify the feasibility of this plan,the model compares and analyzes the handling distance of material,library capacity,the waiting time of in and out of the warehouse and the use of goods allocation by running the mode.
