Based On The Perspective Of Poor Farmers' Perception To Research On The Poverty-relief Performance Of Rural Tourism In The Three Gorges Reservoir Area

Nowadays,the relationship between tourism and poverty alleviation is still a worldwide research topic,which has attracted extensive attention from scholars at home and abroad.With the flourishing development of tourism,rural tourism has become an important way for poverty-stricken areas to get rid of poverty.At present,foreign rural tourism related research mainly focuses on the macro-economic effects of tourism development on the local poverty-stricken areas.However,there are relatively few literatures on the performance-based perception of tourism development brought to poor households from the micro level.In general,research on poverty alleviation in tourism in China is still at a preliminary stage.The object of research focuses on the residents in the tourist areas.There is not much literature on the poverty-stricken rural households in the micro-level.The content of the study is mainly on tourism poverty alleviation theories,meanings,models,etc.And the depth of research on poverty alleviation is insufficient.The research methods are mainly based on qualitative analysis,and there are relatively few studies involving the combination of qualitative and quantitative method analysis.Therefore,this paper takes the micro-perspective of poverty farmers' perception to study the performance of rural tourism poverty alleviation in the Three Gorges reservoir area,and reflects the overall evaluation performance from the three dimensions of economic performance,socio-cultural performance and environmental performance.Based on the form of in-depth interviews with managers and questionnaires for poor farmers,through the construction of poverty performance indicators for poverty-stricken rural households,and analysis of influencing factors of tourism poverty alleviation performance and analysis the correlation between poverty-stricken rural households and tourism poverty alleviation performance,and analysis the correlation between the behavior of involveing in tourism and tourism poverty alleviation.Make hypothesis abou the overall performance evaluation of tourism poverty alleviation,and multiple linear regression analysis is used to verify the hypothesis results.The study found that: The perception of economic performance and the overall evaluation performance of tourism poverty alleviation have a positive impact.Among them,the economic income of impoverished rural households and foreign investment and consumption also positively affect the overall evaluation performance of tourism poverty alleviation.The performance of social cultural performance perception and overall tourism poverty alleviation evaluation is positive,among them rural folk customs also positively affect the overall evaluation performance of tourism poverty alleviation.Environmental performance perception and overall evaluation performance of tourism poverty alleviation have a positive impact,among which environmental quality and infrastructure are also positive for tourism poverty alleviation performance tourism overall poverty evaluation performance.The order of impact size is followed by economic performance perception and socio-cultural performance perception and environmental performance perception.But the public factor affects the overall performance of tourism poverty alleviation,followed by rural folk customs,rural household economic income,foreign investment,consumption,infrastructure,and environmental quality.Therefore,for the sustained and healthy development of tourism,first of all,we should start with the household income and foreign investment consumption to improve the rural tourism economic performance perception.Secondly,pay attention to rural folks to enhance the perception of social and cultural performance.Finally,improve the infrastructure and strengthen the protection of environmental quality to improve the perception of environmental performance,and so as to improve the overall evaluation performance of rural tourism poverty alleviation.
