Tourism Development Research Of Poverty-stricken Mountainous Areas

"Asia's poor in the mountainous areas","Hope in the mountainous areas, and the potential in the mountainous areas". The poverty-stricken mountainous areas through what kind of way to change the potential of resources into economic advantages, to accelerate the pace of development and thus poverty-stricken mountainous areas become rich as soon as possible, this subject becomes a major issue of academia and local governments. Modern tourism has developed into a high value-added, high employment, high foreign exchange earnings and high efficiency of the emerging industries. In the world economy and other countries and regions'economic development tourism industry occupies an increasingly important position. in which poverty-stricken mountainous area with higher tourism resources endowment, through the development of tourism, has promoted economic development more quickly. This positive benefit has been an increasing number of successful practice proved. So, the development of tourism is effective way or mean to achieve the goal that poverty-stricken mountainous areas become rich. Since 1990s, scholars began to focus on theoretical explorations of poverty tourism, namely, Pro-Poor Tourism.By 2002, the theoretical research enters into a rapid development period. Anhua county is national poverty county.It is a combination of mountains,the reservoir area, old revolutionary base areas, with a higher grade of tourism resources.In the poor mountainous areas, it is very typical and representative. This paper aims to Anhua as an example to reasch the tourism development of poverty-stricken mountainous areas, in order to identify the general rules. So that we can better guide the development of tourism in poor mountainous areas and achieve the sustainable development of tourism in these regions.In this paper, basing on summarizing the dynamic of domestic and international research progress, proposing the content and the line of technology, it analysis the theories of tourism development in poor areas, and further discuss the factors which impact the tourism development in poor areas,mechanism and development of optimization models from different angles. Last, it take Anhua county as a case study. In the case study, first through searching a large number of literatures and field research, establishing scientific evaluation system, there is classification and evaluation of AnHua county tourism resources; Second, under the application of SWOT analysis, there is a detailed study of tourism development Anhua advantage weaknesses, opportunities and threats; then, through the questionnaires of the Anhua tourism market demanding structure, there is target market positioning, and application models to predict the scale of tourism; Last, in order to achieve sustainable development of Anhua tourism development, there are some measures, including development model selection, development orientation and regional linkage (including spatial organization optimization and circuit design) and so on. Hope that through this study, to tourism development in poor mountainous areas to provide general ideas and methods.
