Analysis Of The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On Textile Trade Between China And Some OECD Countries

In recent years,the dividends of the reform of the foreign trade management system have gradually diminished,and the constraints of its system have gradually emerged.Foreign trade urgently needs reform and innovation to inject new vitality into it.Therefore,international organizations,governments,and business circles have made trade facilitation an important topic for promoting economic and trade cooperation and development.The textile industry has always played an important role in promoting the development of China's foreign trade industry and expanding exports.OECD countries are important exporters of Chinese textiles,and various barriers are still an important constraint to Chinese textile exports.The development of trade facilitation plays an important role in promoting China's exports to OECD countries.This study aims to the trade of textiles between China and some OECD countries.First,the concept of trade facilitation is clarified,and the mechanism of trade facilitation affecting the development of trade is analyzed,mainly including Transaction Cost Theory,Comparative Advantage Theory,and Information Asymmetry Theory.Secondly,on the basis of analyzing the development of textile trade between China and OECD countries in recent years,we used factor analysis method to establish a trade facilitation assessment indicator system to evaluate China's trade facilitation with major OECD countries.Thirdly,gravity model has been built to explore the impact of trade facilitation on the development of textiles in China and major OECD countries.Finally,basic conclusions and policy recommendations.With the growth of bilateral economic scale,population growth and improvement of trade facilitation,textile trade between China and OECD countries will continue to be improved.At present,the quantity of textile trade is mainly affected by the trade facilitation level of OECD countries,and the level of trade facilitation of OECD countries is uneven.Based on this analysis,policy recommendations are carried out.On the one hand,it actively guides Chinese companies to improve textile trade with OECD countries;on the other hand,it continuously raises the level of trade facilitation between China and OECD countries.
