Research On The Impact Of Cross-border Search On Business Model Innovation

With the Chinese economy entering the overtaking lane,enterprises are facing increasing competition,the static balance that businesses build in a stable business environment has been broken(Hao Jiao,2008),the macroeconomic environment in which enterprises are located is becoming more and more complicated and changeable,under such conditions,business model innovation has become an effective way for companies to respond to environmental changes,it can bring unique competitive advantages for the company,so that the company can maintain its favorable position in the market.Into the knowledge economy era,the existing knowledge of enterprises is increasingly difficult to deal with changes in the market environment.It is difficult to conduct business model innovation alone,"closed innovation" has been difficult to adapt to the needs of business development,therefore,the "open innovation" has become the mainstream,enterprises need to use both external and internal resources to carry out business model innovation,so cross-border search has become an effective way to deal with the business model innovation of enterprises.Based on this,this paper explores the mechanism of cross-border search on the business model innovation,introducing dynamic capabilities as intermediary variables,and open the black box caused by the cross-border search for business model innovation.This article takes open innovation theory,dynamic capability theory and basic knowledge theory as the theoretical basis,building the model of cross-border search on business model innovation,It divides cross-border search into two dimensions,studing its impact on business model innovation.And introduce dynamic ability as an intermediary variable to study its intermediary function from the three dimensions of absorbing ability,integrating ability and reconstruction ability.Based on this theory,we put forward the hypothesis,design the questionnaire,and use the method of questionnaire survey to collect the data of 264 enterprises.,Using the empirical method to verify the hypothesis and get the following conclusions.1?The two dimensions of cross-border search Cross-border search of technical knowledge and cross-border search of market knowledge have a significant positive impact on business model innovation,and cross-border search of technical knowledge has a greater impact on business model innovation.2?Dynamic ability has a significant positive impact on business model innovation,and the development of dynamic ability helps to promote business model innovation.3?Dynamic capabilities play a part-mediated role in cross-border search and business model innovation.On the one hand,Cross-border search has a direct impact on business model innovation.On the other hand,cross-border search indirectly influences business model innovation by enhancing the dynamic capabilities of enterprises.
