| The bulding of innovative city is an important breakthrough to improve the regional innovation,and it is a key link of the bulding of an innovative national system for China.Further,it's an important path to break the original way of economic growth,achieve transformantion and driving of economy and enhance the national competitiveness.Therefore,it is of great significance to evaluate the economic driving effect of the National innovative pilot city.Firstly,this paper gives a systematic overview of related theories of innovation theory and innovative city at home and abroad.On this basis,the economic driving effect of 51 innovative pilot cities was evaluated by using the latest 282 municipal district data from 2000 to 2015.The empirical results show that the construction of innovative pilot cities has a great driving effect on the local economy,and the stability of the regression results of the benchmark model is deepened by PSMDID,placebo test and dynamic effect test.The path analysis of innovation-driven economy shows that the innovative pilot city has significantly improved the ability to attract foreign investment,investment of fixed assets and to add investment of finance in science and education.At the same time,the combination of the construction of innovative pilot city and the National high-tech zone brings about the synergy effect to the economic drive.From the perspective of coordinating regional economic development,this paper examines the heterogeneity of innovation-pilot cities driving economic growth,and finds that although the construction of innovation-pilot cities has a significant economic driving effect both on large cities and small and medium cities,the policy has a stronger economic driving effect on the economies of small and medium-sized cities.Besides,the building of innovative pilot has brought into play the economy-driven effect on the Eastern and central cities,but has not produced a significant economy-driven effect on Western cities because of the disadvantages of the basic conditions of economic development,geographical location factors and input of innovative factors.Based on the conclusion of the empirical analysis process and the current status of the National innovative pilot cities,this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions for the construction of innovative cities from the perspectives of training innovative talents,deepening the construction and development of new and high technology development zones,optimizing the innovative environment and balancing the economic development among regions. |
