Comparative Study On Tourism Efficiency Of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Based On DEA Model

Since the reform and opening up,China's tourism industry has achieved rapid development.But at present,our country still belongs to the extensive type of tourism.The three-step strategy and plans of the road of stronger our country's tourism has been put forward in 2017 national work conference,plan to become a highly intensive world tourism power by 2040,and its essence is the improvement of tourism efficiency.This paper summarizes the research results of tourism efficiency at home and abroad,choices the 6 cities(Nanning,Beihai,Qinzhou,Fangchenggang,Yulin,Chongzuo)in the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone as the research objects,based on the data envelopment method DEA-BCC model,the evaluation system of tourism efficiency,including capital,human resources and resources,as well as economic benefits,social benefits and environmental benefits,is constructed.The comprehensive efficiency,technical efficiency and scale efficiency of tourism input and output in each city of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone from 2006 to 2016 are measured,and compare and analyze it.The Malmquist productivity index model is used to calculate the tourism efficiency of each city in the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,find out the main factors that affect the efficiency of each city.According to the redundant value and the target value of the calculation,the paper puts forward some more accurate suggestions on the input factors of each city.Finally,according to the specific situation of each city,the reasons for the efficiency formation are analyzed.According to the efficiency analysis results and the reasons,puts forward the overall efficiency improvement strategy.The six cities of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone are divided into three types:maintenance,growth and adjustment,based on the characteristics of each city and the specific situation of each city,the paper puts forward the strategy of improving tourism efficiency.
