The power grid is an important pillar of China's energy system.It is an important lifeblood of China's economic and social development.Its resource input and output value constitute an important explanatory element of production efficiency in the production and operation process.It is an important field for researchers to improve the efficiency of the input-output method for power grid,the calculation efficiency is one of the important aspects of the research,data envelopment analysis(DEA)has extensive and unique advantages in efficiency calculation in application.In recent years,the generalized DEA method is proposed,besides the properties of traditional methods,it has more features.In view of the limitations of the existing power grid input output efficiency research,this paper uses the generalized DEA model to empirically study the input-output efficiency of China's Power Grid Corp and the provincial power companies under the jurisdiction.First of all,taking the power grid input-output efficiency as the starting point of the problem,this paper summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad,introduces the definition of efficiency and related concepts.And then,it summarizes the common methods in efficiency calculation and the economic interpretation and applicability of them.Second,based on the limitations of traditional DEA method and the characters of generalized DEA methods,this paper analyzes the applicability and specificity of generalized DEA methods in the research of the input-output efficiency of the power grid.And then,it displays the superiority of the generalized DEA model compared with the traditional DEA model concisely through a small example,highlights the characteristics of the generalized DEA model that can evaluate the efficiency of a given sample unit as a reference set,which increases the comprehensiveness of decision-making unit evaluation.Third,according to the organization structure and management model of national Power Grid Corp,this paper researches the range of the input-output factors in production and management process of the National Grid Company and provincial power company respectively.Combining the principles of selection of input-output elements,this paper uses the entropy method to determine the input-output factors of the grid companies and provincial power companies one by one.Then,according to the input and output factors determined,this paper conducts a calculation and comparison analysis of the efficiency of the power grid company by using the traditional model and the generalized DEA model,and defines the status of current grid company resource allocation.Further,this paper selects different sample units as reference sets to evaluate the input-output efficiency of provincial power companies and analyzes the contribution degree of the factors under different samples by using rank correlation method.Finally,it indicates the path for efficiency improvement by combining the input-output slack.The research shows that China's power grid company's input-output efficiency has increased year by year,and the trend of scale efficiency and overall efficiency have remained consistent,and technical efficiency has been maintained at a relatively high level in an effective state,indicating the degree of development of China's power grid technology in the development of the world's industries.For the 27 provincial Power Grid Corp,the relative efficiency of 15 are lower than the overall average,and the other 12 are higher than the average.And in the 12 companies,7 Power Grid Corp are in a state of comprehensive efficiency.For grid companies in various efficiency states,this paper provides improvements in terms of technical efficiency and scale efficiency.Finally,the paper concludes the research and prospects for the future.
