The Influence Of Labor Transfer On Land Transfer

In new period,there is a growing number of rural laboers enter cities for off-farm work.This phenomenon not only has a profound influences to cities,but also promotes peasants families re-allocate labor resource.Certainly,peasant families may re-allocate their land resource.At the same time,with the rapid development of agricultural mechanization,labor can be replaced by agricultural machinery,it can also affect transfer of agricultural land.Thus,in face of rapid changing situation of the new period,this paper tries to solve these problems:In new period,the relationship between transfer of labor force and agricultural land transfer?What happens when machinery can substitution labor?Based on the above judgement,this paper use data of 2704 sample households in the 9 provinces of China,and from perspective of new economics of migration theory,the theory of peasant household behavior and the theory of induced technological innovation,this paper use Probit model and OLS model to do a series of empirical analysis.The research shows the following points:The transfer of labor force is promoting the transfer of farmland,and the negative role of agricultural land is transferred to the land.Agricultural mechanization plays an intermediary role in the transfer of labor force-transfer of farmland /farmland into the path,and is part of the intermediary role.The transfer of labor force and agricultural mechanization present a "substitution relationship".Age,family size and topography play a significant role in the transfer of agricultural land;age,age squared,education level,distance from town center and topography have a significant effect on farmland transfer.Based on the above,suggestions are put forward: first,to accelerate the implementation of the "agricultural land withdrawal" system,adhere to the promotion of agricultural land circulation,in order to promote the good development of the agricultural market.Second,vigorously promote mechanical work,improve agricultural machinery subsidy policy.Third,comprehensive consideration of the influence of external factors,improve the other social security,medical insurance,pension and other systems.
