Progress Of Agricultural Technology,Transfer Of Rural Labor And Income Growth Of Farmers

Promoting reforms of agricultural supply side,releasing full vitality of agricultural economic development are of great significance to promote increasing the income of rural residents under the economic new normal.In theory,the progress of agricultural technology and agricultural machinery especially technological progress not only directly has the effect on improving agricultural productivity but also it increases continuously and effectively the income of rural residents.At the same time,agricultural machinery as the most important elements of alternative agricultural labor that agricultural machinery technology progress is form a kind of "substitution effect"of labor input in traditional agriculture which promotes the development of traditional agriculture extension of excessive dependence on labor input factors of growth mode to change to rely on technological progress as the core connotation of agricultural growth mode.Technical progress is characteristic of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,which will promote a large number of rural redundant labor to transfer from traditional agriculture to modern other industries in theory.To sum up in conclusion that there is a close relationship among the progress of agricultural technology,rural labor transfer and income increase of farmers.The firstly,this paper theoretically expounds the influence mechanism between progress of agricultural technology,the rural labor transfer and the income growth of rural residents.Secondly,considering the regional heterogeneity,we construct respectively the Regional Panel Data China 1985-2012 years of high agricultural productivity and low agricultural productivity based on grouping research ideas of agricultural labor productivity.Finally,we construct the panel vector autoregressive model(PVAR).The relation of the progress of agricultural technology,rural labor transfer and income increase of farmers is analysed in panel Granger causality test,impulse response function and variance decomposition.The empirical research shows that:(1)the progress of agricultural technology has a role in promoting the rural residents' income significantly positive dynamic,and this positive effect significantly exists in high agricultural productivity areas and low agricultural productivity in the region;(2)in high agricultural productivity area,agricultural technological progress produced instead of impact effect on the rural labor force transfer,but this effect is not significant in the region of low agricultural productivity;(3)rural labor transfer has a positive effect on the income growth of rural residents and this mechanism only exist significantly in high agricultural productivity area,but we don't found significant evidence to support the conclusion that rural labor transfer has a positive effect on the income growth of rural residents in low agricultural labor productivity area.Based on the above research conclusions,the government should fully recognize the differences between regions in the relevant policy making process.Finally,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions on how to improve the level of agricultural technology,consummate the supporting measures of rural labor transfer and promote rapidly and continuously growth of rural residents' income.
