The transfer of agricultural labor force and agricultural mechanization are related to new urbanization and agricultural and rural modernization,and are the key to my country’s comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country.Promoting the sustainable and stable growth of the agricultural economy is an important part of ensuring national food security and increasing farmers’ income,and is of great significance to maintaining the country’s stable development and narrowing the urban-rural income gap.The transfer of agricultural labor and agricultural mechanization are mutually influenced and related,and both drive the growth of China’s agricultural economy.This paper uses the Kaya identity model to construct an analysis framework for the impact of agricultural labor transfer and agricultural mechanization on agricultural economic growth,and uses the LMDI decomposition method to decompose them into agricultural production scale effects,labor input quantity effects,agricultural machinery and equipment effects and machinery economic output.The research results show that:(1)From 2001 to 2019,my country’s total agricultural output value increased from 2,617.97 billion yuan to5,596.68 billion yuan,with an average annual growth rate 4.3%.From a national perspective,the sown area of crops continued to expand from 2007 to 2013 and 2013 to 2019,so the scale effect of agricultural production has become an important driving force for agricultural economic growth.Domain performance is particularly prominent.In comparison,the sown area of crops in 11 eastern and southern coastal provinces and cities decreased significantly during the study period,so the scale effect of agricultural production had a significant inhibitory effect on their agricultural economic growth.(2)The effect of labor input quantity has a negative inhibitory effect on the agricultural economic growth of the whole country and its 27 provinces,and its inhibitory effect has been increasing during the study period,which is particularly prominent in the 12 main grain producing areas.The amount of inhibition is more than 25 billion yuan.As far as the effect of agricultural machinery and equipment is concerned,it is the biggest driving factor of agricultural economic growth at the national or provincial level,and its promotion effect on my country’s 10 major grain producing areas is more than 100 billion yuan.(3)The mechanical economic output effect has changed from a negative inhibition to a positive promotion effect on the agricultural economic growth at the national level,and its positive promotion effect is increasing.At the provincial level,the mechanical economic output effect has contributed more than 35 billion yuan to the agricultural economic growth of the 8 coastal provinces and cities in my country,while the inhibitory effect on the 7 main grain producing areas has exceeded 15 billion yuan.In order to realize the sustainable growth of China’s agricultural economy,the policy suggestions for promoting the growth of China’s agricultural economy are put forward from the aspects of strengthening the construction of regional agricultural ecological environment,stabilizing the sown area of crops and agricultural production teams,and promoting agricultural mechanization according to local conditions. |
