The Cropland Consolidation Potential Evaluation And Zoning Under The Constraints Of The Production-Ecology-Living Space In Hubei Province

With the acceleration of urbanization,cropland resources in china are increasingly scarce,and the reserve resources of cropland are insufficient,and the hazards of cropland are increasingly prominent.These problems pose a serious threat to Chinese food security issues.The extensive use of land to intensive use has become an inevitable choice.Land consolidation,as an effective means of supplementing cropland,is also the key to realizing the potential of internal land tapping,and it has received increasing attention.Since the party's 18 th National Congress,the “Ecological Civilization Construction” has been put on the agenda,and the “Production-Ecology-Living” space which consists of “a productive space with intension and efficiency,a suitable and livable living space,and an beautiful ecological space” has been established,and the optimization of the national space development pattern has been as the most important measurement of the ecological civilization construction.As an important means to optimize the spatial pattern of the land,cropland consolidation plays an important role in the construction of ecological civilization,especially in the reconstruction of the rural spatial pattern.Therefore,from the perspective of the “Production-Ecology-Living” space,this paper evaluates and studies the potential of the cropland consolidation in Hubei Province,which is of great significance for the construction of ecological civilization and the optimization of national space under the new era.This paper takes the county-level administrative regions of Hubei Province as the evaluation unit.On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign relevant literature,a comprehensive evaluation model for cropland consolidation under the constraints of “Production-Ecology-Living” is established by combining the actual situation of Hubei Province.The model selects the natural potential of the cropland consolidation,the production space constraints,the living space constraints,and the ecological space constraints as the indicator factors.Based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),the weight values of each indicator is determined.Finally,the comprehensive potential value of the cropland consolidation in Hubei Province is calculated,and then it is graded divided based on the comprehensive potential results.The calculation results of the cropland consolidation potential show that Xiangyang gets the largest comprehensive score of 1.9286,while Ezhou gets the mallest score of0.0353.Moran's I,the global spatial autocorrelation value of the scores for the potential of cropland consolidation in Hubei Province,is 0.5934.It indicates that there is a significant spatial positive autocorrelation in the spatial distribution of consolidation potential,and a more obvious aggregate effect in the overall situation.Local spatial autocorrelation analysis shows that there is obvious heterogeneity in the spatial distribution of cropland consolidation potential in Hubei Province.The grading results of the cropland consolidation potential show that,as a whole,the potential value of Hubei Province presents a spatial pattern whose middle part is high and two sides are low.Among them,the potential areas of Grade I are mainly concentrated in the central part of Hubei Province,and the potential areas of Grade II are mostly distributed on both sides of areas of Grade I,and the potential areas of Grade III is mainly distributed in the western part of Hubei Province,and the potential areas of Grade IV is less scattered.According to the natural potential of cropland consolidation and the score of “Production-Ecology-Living” spatial constraint,Hubei Province can be divided into five consolidation areas.The average values of cropland consolidation potentials in various consolidation areas was ranked in descending order as follows: the low hilly consolidation area in northern Hubei Province,the high-yield farmLand consolidation area in Jianghan Plain,the cropland consolidation area in southwestern Hubei Province,the hilly Land consolidation area in eastern Hubei Province,and the mountainous ecological consolidation area in western Hubei Province.Finally,according to the characteristics of various consolidation areas,we propose the targeted consolidation proposals.
